This means that the acid is classified on the basis of their source or origin. They are mainly of two types: Organic acid and Mineral acid. Organic Acid: This is the acid obtained from organic materials such as plants and animals. For e.g. Citric acid (Citrus fruits), Acetic acid (Vinegar), Oleic acid (Olive oil), etc.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 5 months ago

Acids are classified as Organic Acids and Mineral Acids. Acids which are derived from plants and animals, they are known as Organic AcidsFor Example, Citric Acid from fruit. Mineral acids are inorganic acids such as Sulphuric Acid. They are dangerous to be used, so need more precautions.

Acids are also classified as Strong Acids or Weak Acids. Strong acid is an acid, that completely dissociates into ions in aqueous solutions. For Example, Sulphuric Acid, Hydrochloric Acid.

Weak acid is the one which does not dissociate completely into ions in aqueous solutions. For ExampleAcetic Acid.

when two things overlap, part of one covers part of the other

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 5 months ago

When some social differences overlap other differences, it creates overlapping of social differences. This kind of situation produces social divisions, when one kind of social difference becomes more important than the other and people start feeling that they belong to different communities. Overlapping differences create possibilities of deep social divisions and tensions.
For example,
(i) The difference between the Blacks and Whites became a social division in the US because the Blacks always tend to be poor, homeless and discriminated against.
(ii) In our country, Dalits tend to be poor and landless as they often free injustice and discrimination.

Search Results Featured snippet from the web Now x, x², p, q and 2 are all rational, and rational numbers are closed under subtraction and division. So (x² - p - q) / 2 is rational. But since p and q are both primes, then pq is not a perfect square and therefore √(pq) is not rational. But this is a contradiction.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 5 months ago

lets assume that √p is rational,

⇒ √p = a/b ( where 'a' and 'b' are co primes, meaning they don't have any common factors except for 1)

From squaring both sides,

p = a²/b²

⇒pb² = a²

⇒ b² = a²/p

Since 'p' divides a², it also divides 'a' meaning 'a' has a factor of p

Let 'a' = pm (where m is a positive integer) ⇒ a² = p²m²

Now, pb² = a²

pb² = p²m²

pb²/p²= m²

b²/p =m²

∴ 'p' divides 'b' ⇒ 'b' also has a factor 'p'

∴ 'a' and 'b' are not co primes and our assumption was wrong

⇒ √p is irrational

Similarly √q is irrational

∴⇒ √p + √q is irrational

Sumesh ☺️☺️☺️ 5 years, 5 months ago

Let us suppose that √p + √q is rational.  Let √p + √q = a, where a is rational.  = √q = a – √p  Squaring on both sides, we get  q = a2 + p - 2a√p => √p = (a2 + p - q)/2a, which is a contradiction as the right hand side is rational number, while√p is irrational.  Hence, √p + √q is irrational.

Gaurav Seth 5 years, 5 months ago

To Find :- The  quadratic polynomial.

Quadratic Equation Should be in the form of : ax² + bx + c.

For Finding the quadratic polynomial we use this formula :- k = (x² - (α + β)x + αβ ).

It's Given that :-

Sum of roots ( α + β ) = -√2

Product of roots ( αβ ) = 3/2

Now, Putting this in the formula.

k = (x² - (α + β)x + αβ)

k= [ x² - (-√2)x +[tex]\huge\sf\dfrac{3}{2}]

k = x² + √2x + 3/2

k = 2x² + 2√2x + 3 / 2

Let k = 2.

2 = 2x² + 2√2x + 3 / 2

Hence, the required quadratic polynomial is 2x² + 2√2x + 3

Solar cookers are blackened from inside because black absorbs more heat from sun as compared to other colours. EXPLANATION: When more heat is absorbed by the blackened interiors, the food is cooked faster as more heat is absorbed inside the cooker. ... This helps in rapid increase of temperature inside the solar cooker

Gaurav Seth 5 years, 5 months ago

The purpose of blackening the interior of a solar cooker is that the black surface absorbs more heat radiations of incident solar energy (about 98%) as compare to white or other light coloured surface.
