Given that cubic polynomial,
x³-3x²+x+1
then,
(a-b)+a+(a+b)=-b/a
3a=-(-3)/1
3a=3
a=3/3
a=1
Again,
(a-b)*a*(a+b)=-d/a
a(a²-b²)=-1/1
1(1²-b²=-1
1-b²=-1
-b²=-1-1
-b²=-2
b±2
b=±√2
that
a=1
b=√2

4x²-80x+400 = 0
x2 - 20x + 100 = 0
x2 - 10x - 10x + 100 =0
x ( x - 10) - 10 (x - 10) =0
(x -10) (x - 10) = 0
x - 10 = 0, x - 10 = 0
x = 10 and x = 10

Jaliyanvalabad event: Ali brothers- Mohammed Ali and Shaukat Ali organized the Khilafat Movement in order to protest against the inequalities done to the Turkish people who had protested against Britain after the First World War. Turkey was significant to the Muslims because the Sultan of Turkey was also known as the Khalifa who is also the spritual leader of the Muslims.
The Khilafat administrators restraint the British government to treat turkey in the better way. Through this movement, Muslims were fascinated towards national movement in large numbers unitedly. The action becomes a part of the national movement. The Congress leaders participated in the agitation and promoted in organizing unity throughout the country.
Khalifat movement: Jaliyanvalabad event: On 10th April 1919, two nationalist leaders- Dr Saifuddin Kitchlew and Dr Satya Pal were arrested in Punjab under the infamous Rowlatt Act. On 13th April 1919, people gathered in a small park in Amritsar which was called the Jalllianwala Bagh, to protest against these arrests. The peaceful gathering was attended by men, women and children. General Dyer, a British military officer, stationed a regiment of soldiers at the only entrance of the park, declared the meeting illegal and without warning ordered his soldiers to fire. The firing lasted for ten minutes, till all the ammunition was exhausted. More than a thousand people were killed and over twice that number wounded. Dr. Herriot took Tricki to his surgery and stopped giving him the unhealthy food items which Mrs. Pumphrey had been giving him to eat. He put Tricki on a diet and left him to play with other dogs in the shelter. To save Tricki and bring him back to good health, he had to even lie to Mrs. Pumphrey. Soon, Tricki became a fit & active dog and he was out of danger due to obesity and lack of exercise.

A wide variety of social groups responded to the call of Non-cooperation and Swaraj given by Mahatma Gandhi during the Non-Cooperation Movement. Inevitably, each of their interpretations of the concept of Swaraj differed from one another.
In the cities, students left government controlled educational institutions, teaching professionals resigned, and lawyers gave up their practices. Also, in many provinces except Madras, council elections were boycotted. Foreign manufactured goods were boycotted, liquor shops were picketed, and foreign cloth was thrown into huge bonfires. In many places merchants and traders refused to conduct commerce in foreign goods or finance foreign trade.
In the rural areas, the idea of Non-cooperation was interpreted as a fight against the landlords and talukdars who levied very high rents and other cesses on the peasants. In pursuance of self-rule, the peasants demanded reduction in revenue, abolition of the system of begar and boycotted exploitative landlords. Nai-dhobi bandhs were also organised by panchayats to deprive landlords of the services of barbers and washermen. In the tribal areas of India, the message of Swaraj was translated into militant guerilla movements against the exploitative policies of the British administration. The working class too interpreted the concept of Non-cooperation in their own way. The plantation workers of Assam saw it as a way of countering the draconian Inland Emigration Act of 1859 which disallowed them from leaving the plantation premises without permission. The plantation workers rebelled against this under the pretext of Non-cooperation and sought to retain a link with their place of origin.

The word ‘federation’ has not been used in the constitution of India, but the Indian Union was formed on the basis of federalism.
The Constitution originally provided for a two-tier system of government. The Union Government or Central Government represents the Union of India and the State governments represent the provinces. Later, a third tier was added in the federation; with the formation of Panchayats and Municipalities.

It is given that:
Length of a tile = 15m 17m = 1517cm [∵ 1m = 100cm]
Breadth of a tile = 9m 2m = 902cm
∴ Side of each square tile = HCF (1517, 902)
Prime factorization:
1517 = 37 × 41
902 = 22 × 41
∴ HCF = product of smallest power of each common prime factor in the numbers = 41
∴ Required number of tiles = Area of ceiling/Area of one tile = 1517 x 902/ 41 x 41 = 37 x 22 = 814

Properties of Magnets
- A magnet attracts magnetic materials towards itself.
- A freely suspended bar magnet always aligns in the north-south direction.
- Unlike poles attract each other and like poles repel each other.
- A magnet with a single pole does not exist. If a magnet is cut into two pieces each piece will behave like an independent magnet, with a north pole and a south pole.
- When a bar magnet is rubbed over an iron bar, it changes the iron bar into a magnet.
