Gandhiji used non-violent methods to resist the British oppression. Alluri Sitaram Raju was militant. He organised a military army and attacked symbols of British authority.
Raju was inspired by the Non-Cooperation Movement and persuaded people to wear khadi and give up drinking. He also asserted that India could be liberated only by the use of force, not non-violence. The rebels attacked police stations, attempted to kill British officials and carried on guerrilla warfare for achieving swaraj. Raju was captured and executed in 1924, and over time became a folk hero.

The 2nd round table conference 1931 was held in London . It was attended by Gandhiji as a sole representative of the congress, according to the terms of the Gandhi-Irwin pact of 1931. He conference was soon deadlocked on the minorities issue, with separate electorates being demanded now not only by Muslims but also by the depressed classes. The question of independence or setting up a responsible government receded into the background. The British government refused to concede the immediate grant of Dominion status. So Gandhiji returned to India disappointed.

Given that, two resistors are connected in series gives an equivalent resistance of 10Ω. When connected in parallel, gives 2.4Ω. We need to find the individual resistance.
Equivalent resistance in series combination is :
Equivalent resistance when connected in parallel is :
On solving (1) and (2) we get :
So, the individual resistance are 6 ohms and 4 ohms. Hence, this is the required solution
