AAA similarity theorem or criterion:
If the corresponding angles of two triangles are equal, then their corresponding sides are proportional and the triangles are similar
In ΔABC and ΔPQR, ∠A = ∠P , ∠B = ∠Q , and ∠C = ∠R then AB PQ = BC QR = ACPRand ΔABC ∼ ΔPQR.
Given: In ΔABC and ΔPQR, ∠A = ∠P, ∠B = ∠Q, ∠C = ∠R.
To prove: AB PQ = BC QR = ACPR
Construction : Draw LM such that PL AB = PM AC .
Proof: In ΔABC and ΔPLM,
AB = PL and AC = PM (By Contruction)
∠BAC = ∠LPM (Given)
∴ ΔABC ≅ ΔPLM (SAS congruence rule)
∠B = ∠L (Corresponding angles of congruent triangles)
Hence ∠B = ∠Q (Given)
∴ ∠L = ∠Q
LQ is a transversal to LM and QR.
Hence ∠L = ∠Q (Proved)
∴ LM ∥ QR
PL LQ = PM MR
LQ PL = MR PM (Taking reciprocals)
LQ PL + 1 = MR PM + 1 (Adding 1 to both sides)
LQ+PL PL = MR+PM PM
PQ PL = PR PM
PQ AB = PR AC (AB = PL and AC =PM)
AB PQ = AC PR (Taking Reciprocals) ............... (1)
AB PQ = BC QR
AB PQ = AC PR = BC QR
∴ ΔABC ~ ΔPQR

Let a be the amount of air initially Amount of air remaining after 1st pump =a –(a/4)=3a/4
Amount of air remaining after 2nd pump= (3a/4) – (1/4)(3a/4)=9a/16
Amount of air remaining after 3rd pump= (9a/16) – (1/4)(9a/16)=27a/64
So the series is like
a,3a/4,9a/4,27a/64……..
Difference Ist and second term=-a/4
Difference between Second and Third term= -3a/16
So difference is not constant
So it is not Arithmetic Progression

Diffusion is the net movement of molecules of a substance from a region of their higher concentration to a region of their lower concentration. Net movement means there are more molecules moving in one direction than in the opposite direction.
Example: Opening a bottle of perfume in a room will result in the gradual diffusion of the perfume from the region of higher concentration (the bottle) out into the room. Diffusion will continue until the perfume has a more or less uniform concentration throughout the bottle and room.

- Receptors are the sensing molecules or elements which communicate the signal from a ligand to the cell to elicit specific physiological change.
- They are located in the cells, tissues and help to control all most all the body organs.
- The ligand is the one which binds to the receptor and brings in conformational changes to produce a definite effect on the body’s physiology.
- In general, most receptors have endogenous ligands or biomolecules which can trigger a response.
- Most receptors are named based on their endogenous ligands like serotonin receptors, acetylcholine receptors, opioid receptors.

(i) A well-known pioneer of mass production was the car manufacturer, 'Henry Ford'. (ii) He adopted an assembly line technique of a slaughter house. (iii) He realized that the 'assembly line' method would allow a faster and cheaper way of producing vehicles. (iv) This method forced workers to repeat a single task mechanically and continuously. (v) This was a way of increasing the output per worker by speeding up the pace of work. (vi) At first, workers were unable to cope with the load of work but Henry Ford doubled the daily wages. (vii) This doubling of daily wages was considered 'best cost-cutting decision' he had ever made. (viii) Later, this system of mass production was followed by many other countries. In the US, with this system, car production rose from 2 millions to above 5 millions.

Ausable was different from other secret agents in more ways than one. He had a small room in the musty corridor of a gloomy French hotel. It was on the sixth and top floor and it was scarcely the setting for a romantic adventures. He was extremely fat. Inspite of living in Paris for over twenty years, he spoke French and German only passably and had an American accent. Instead of getting messages slipped into his hands by dark eyed beauties he got only telephone call making an appointment. In this ways, he was different from the conventional notion of a spy.
