Democracy accommodates social diversity as it allows for equality, fair representation to all irrespective of their caste, creed, colour, race, religion, language or place of residence.

Democracy also ensures that the government should not be made by the majority but it should have the representation of minorities as well

there is a tendency of gender discrimination everywhere in the world Woman are discriminated in one way or the other

India is a secular country and it never tries to give undue preference to any language

Democracy is best form of government to accommodate social diversities if it must fulfills some basic conditions. They are:

Free and fair elections.

Majority rule should not be in terms of religion or race or linguistic groups.

Majority should always work in consonance with the minority.

Riya Sharma 5 years, 4 months ago

The first 3-digit number which is divisible by 7 is 105 The last 3-digit number which is divisible by 7 is 994 The list of 3-digit numbers divisible by 7 are 105, 112, 119,…..994 which forms an A.P Consider a formula T(n) = a + (n – 1)d Where a = 105 d = 7 T(n) = 994 994 = 105 + (n – 1)7 889 = 7n – 7 7n = 896 n = 128 ∴ There are 128 3-digits number which are divisible by 7

Let us assume 3+root 5 to be rational. It means that it can be written in the form of p/q where p and q are coprime and q is not equal to zero L.H.S *p/q=3+root5 *p/q-3=root5 L.H.S i.e.p/q-3 is rational but R.H.S i.e. root 5 is irrational So our assumption is wrong Therefore 3+root5 is irrational.

Hence proved

Riya Sharma 5 years, 4 months ago

Let us assume that 3+5 is a rational number. Now, 3+5=ba [Here a and b are co-prime numbers] 5=[(ba)−3] 5=[(ba−3b)] Here, [(ba−3b)] is a rational number. But we know that 5 is an irrational number. So, [(ba−3b)] is also a irrational number. So, our assumption is wrong. 3+5 is an irrational number. Hence, proved.
