One ohm is equal to the resistance of a conductor through which a current of one ampere flows when a potential difference of one volt is applied to it. Ohm's law states that Current through a conductor is directly proportional to voltage difference across it. The circuit diagram to verify ohm's law is drawn below. Voltmeter across a resistor is connected in parallel. Ammeter to measure current in the circuit is attached in series. A variable resistor is connected. In parallel connection ends of resistance are connected at same point. In parallel connection current through all the resistor are different but voltage across all the resistor remain same since all of them are connected from same point.

In the story His First Flight by Liam O’ Flaherty, the mother’s role in teaching the growing babies has been highlighted. The young seagull had fear of jumping from the high sea ledge to fly; his brother and sister had already made their first flight. Everyone was waiting for him to jump and fly and join them on the plateau. He kept sitting on the ledge feeling hungry.

The mother seagull conceived of a plan; she broke a piece of meat from a fish and flew up to the ledge. But she did not go very lose to him. She kept hovering a little away from the ledge. The young seagull in an attempt to take food from his mother, fell from the ledge; this fall compelled him to open his wings. And soon he was flying.

Nationalist tensions emerged in the Balkans because of the spread of ideas of romantic nationalism as also the disintegration of the Ottoman Empire that had previously ruled over this area. The different Slavic communities in the Balkans began to strive for independent rule. They were jealous of each other and every state wanted more territory, even at the expense of others. Also, the hold of imperial power over the Balkans made the situation worse. Russia, Germany, England, Austro-Hungary all wanted more control over this area. These conflicts ultimately led to the First World War in 1914.

3x² + 6x - 9 = 0 ,, 3x² + 9x - 3x - 9 = 0 ,, 3x ( x + 3 ) - 3 ( x + 3 ) ,, = (3x - 3 ) ( x + 3 ) = 0 ,, = x = 3/3 = 1 . ,,,, x = - 3 .,,,, First root is [ x = 1] ,, second root is [ x = - 3 ] . So , the positive root of. 3x² + 6x - 9 = 0 is 1 Ans . Thank you.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 3 months ago

3x2 + 6x = 9
3x2 + 6x - 9 = 0
3x2 + 9x - 3x - 9 = 0
3x(x + 3) - 3 (x +3) = 0
(x + 3) ( 3x - 3)= 0
x + 3 = 0 or 3x - 3 = 0
x = -3 or 3x = 3
x = -3 or x = 3/3 = 1

Conservation of resources is the ethical and sustainable use and the protection of valuable natural resources by humans. These resources include all the natural wealth, both renewable and non-renewable, on this planet like air, water, minerals, soil, plants and crops, animals, oil and gas, timber, etc. These are the resources that provide the basic sources or needs of living like water, food, clothing and shelter. The ever surging population and the resultant urbanization and industrialization are the main causes of depletion or destruction of these resources. Hence, these resources should be conserved and renewed to meet the demand and supply of the present and the future needs.

Function. ATP hydrolysis provides theenergy needed for many essential processes in organisms and cells. These include intracellular signaling, DNA and RNA synthesis, Purinergic signaling, synaptic signaling, active transport, and muscle contraction.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 3 months ago

Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is thought of as the "molecular currency" for energy transfer within the cell. Function: ATPs are used as the main energy source for metabolic functions. They are consumed by energy-requiring (endothermic) processes and produced by energy-releasing (exothermic) processes in the cell.

In all unicellular organisms, the cell membrane acts as a respiratory surface.

  • The cell membrane respires through the process of diffusion, by allowing oxygen in through the membrane. Due to the size of the organisms, there is no space for organs and breathe like multicellular organisms.
  • Examples of single celled organisms are amoeba, paramecium. In amoeba, respiration takes place through the plasma membrane, where the oxygen gas dissolved in the surrounding, diffuses through the membrane.

Because there is a lack of oxygen in water as compared to us. So, breathing rate is faster in acquatic animals as compared to us.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 3 months ago

Aquatic animals breathe at a faster rate than the terrestrial animals because the amount of dissolved oxygen in water is fairly low compared to the amount of oxygen in the air. To meet the oxygen need aquatic animals breathe faster to intake more oxygen.

Respiratory pigments are those which have the capability to bind with oxygen. In multicellular organisms, hemoglobin is the main respiratory pigment present in the red blood cells of the blood and it imparts a red color to the blood. It has a higher affinity for oxygen and increases the oxygen carrying capacity of the blood. The respiratory pigments are required because they carry oxygen to the blood and then circulate to the different parts of the body and converts the deoxygenated blood into the oxygenated blood, it releases carbon dioxide back to the environment. This is called the process of the circulation of blood in the heart and body.
