Lateral displacement increases with increase in angle of incidence and also increases with increase in refractive index. since refractive index increases with decrease in wavelength, so does lateral displacement, i.e, lateral displacement is more for violet light than for red. I hope it will helpfull..?

Oersted Experiment In 1820, Oersted established the relationship between electricity and magnetism. He concluded that a current carrying wire produces a magnetic field around it. Aim: To show that a current carrying wire produces a magnetic field around it. Experiment Setup: A thick insulated copper wire is taken and connected with the battery in such a way that current flows from South to North direction in the wire. A compass needle is placed under the wire. Observations: 1. When electric current is passed through the wire from South (S) to North (N) directions and the wire is placed over (O) the compass needle, the compass needle gets deflected towards West (W) direction (SNOW Rule). 2. On reversing the direction of current in the wire, the compass needle gets deflected in the opposite direction. 3. When current is switched off, then there is no deflection in the compass needle. Conclusion: The deflection of compass needle, whenever there is current in the wire shows that a current carrying wire produces a magnetic field around it. This video demonstrate the Oersted's Experiment i.e a current carrying conductor produces a magnetic field around it. Hope it will help you ?✌

Orested showed in his experiment that current carrying conductor can produce magnetic field around it He took a wire and a magnetic compass for his experiment. When current does not flow in conductor then there is no deflection in the compass But he took magnetic compass close to current carrying conductor. खीरों के संबंध में नवाब के व्यवहार को उनकी सनक माना जा सकता है, क्योंकि नवाब को अपने अभिजात्य वर्ग के होने का अभिमान होता है, उनमें अक्सर झूठी शान दिखाने की भी आदत होती है। चाहे कुछ भी हो जाये पर उनमें नवाबी वाला पाखंड नही जाता। एक ऐसा ही किस्सा है... एक बार एक नवाब साहब अपने बिस्तर पर बैठे हुक्का गुड़गुड़ा रहे थे। तभी उन्हे खबर मिली कि दुश्मनों ने आक्रमण कर दिया है। जिसको जिधर मौका मिला भाग लिया। अब नवाब साहब ठहरे नवाब। वो खुद से अपना जूता भी नही पहनते थे, उनका नौकर आकर पहनाता था। वो अपने नौकर को आवाज लगाते रह गये, पर कोई न आया। आता भी कैसे सब लोग तो डरकर भाग चुके थे। अब नवाब साहब ने खुद ही जूता पहन कर दुश्मन से बच के निकल जाने का कष्ट नही किया क्योंकि स्वयं से जूता पहनना उनकी शान के खिलाफ था। वो हिले नही और दुश्मन उनके सर पर आ गया। उनको पकड़ लिया गया। अपनी नवाबी सनक के चलते नवाब साहब दुश्मन की गिरफ्त में आ गये। थोड़ी अपनी नवाबी वाली नफासत कम करते तो बचकर निकल भाग सकते थे।......?

Here, a=2, b=k, c=3 D=b^2-4ac/2a =k^2-4×2×3/2×2 =K^2-24/4=0 k^2=24 K=√24 .......It may helpful to you.

We have to find the values of k for quadratic equations 2x² + kx + 3 = 0 so that they have two equal roots.

we know, quadratic equation will be equal only when

discriminant, D = b² - 4ac = 0

on comparing 2x² + kx + 3 = 0 with general form of quadratic equation , ax² + bx + c = 0 we get, a = 2, b = k and c = 3

so Discriminant , D = (k)² - 4(2)(3) = 0

or, k² - 24 = 0

or, k = ± √24 = ±2√6

hence, the value of k = 2√6 or -2√6

We consider light rays from infinity parallel because they are parallel. ... As the intersection point is pushed further away, the lines become more parallel. The object at infinity means distant object. The rays falling on the lens from an object at infinity are parallel to principal axis. Object at infinity is a fancy way of saying that all the light rays coming from the object are parallel(almost) to each other. (Which is practically impossible because the object will emit or reflect light in all possible direction).

An ammeter should be connected in the circuit in series with the resistors. To measure the potential difference across the resistor it should be connected in parallel, as shown in the following figure
The resistances are connected in series.
Ohm’s law can be used to obtain the readings of ammeter and voltmeter. According to Ohm’s law,
V = IR,
Where,
Potential difference, V = 6 V
Current flowing through the circuit/resistors = I
Resistance of the circuit, R = 5 + 8 + 12 = 25ohm
I = V/R = 6/25 = 0.24 A
Potential difference across 12ohm resistor = V1
Current flowing through the 12ohm resistor, I = 0.24 A
Therefore, using Ohm’s law, we obtain
V1 = IR = 0.24 x 12 = 2.88 V
Therefore, the reading of the ammeter will be 0.24 A.
The reading of the voltmeter will be 2.88 V.
