If several parties compete for power, and more than two parties have a reasonable chance of coming to power either on their own strength or in an alliance with others, it is known as a multi-party system.

In India, we have a multi-party system. In this system, the government is formed by various parties coming together in a coalition. When several parties in a multi-party system join hands for the purpose of contesting elections and winning power,it is called an alliance or a front. For example, in India there were three such major alliances in 2004 parliamentary elections—the National Democratic Alliance, the United Progressive Alliance and the Left Front.

Production of goods in large quantities after processing from raw materials to more valuable products is called manufacturing. It is considered as backbone of development because:

(i) It not only helps in modernising agriculture but also forms the backbone of our economy.
(ii) Industrial development is a precondition for eradication of unemployment and poverty from our country.
(iii) Export of manufactured goods expands trade and commerce.
(iv) Countries that transform their raw materials into a wide variety of finished goods of higher value are prosperous.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 2 months ago

Manufacturing sector is considered the backbone of economic development because:

(i)Manufacturing industries not only help in modernising agriculture, which forms the backbone of our economy, they also reduce the heavy dependence of people on agricultural income by providing them jobs in secondary and tertiary sectors.

(ii)Industrial development is a precondition for eradication of unemployment and poverty from our country.
(iii)It also helps in bringing down regional disparities by establishing industries in tribal and backward areas.

(iv)Export of manufactured goods expands trade and commerce, and brings in much needed foreign exchange.
(v)Countries that transform their raw materials into a wide variety of furnished goods of higher value are prosperous.

Let a be any positive integer and b = 4. Then by Euclid’s algorithm,
a = 4q + r for some integer q ≥ 0, and r = 0, 1, 2, 3
So, a = 4q or 4q + 1 or 4q + 2 or 4q + 3 because 0 ≤ r < 4
Now, 4q i.e., 2(2q) is an even number
∴4q + 1 is an odd number.
4q + 2 i.e., 2(2q + 1) which is also an even number.
∴ (4q + 2) + 1 = 4q + 3 is an odd number.
Thus, we can say that any odd integer can be written in the form 4q + 1 or 4q + 3 where q is some integer.

Shreedhar J 5 years, 2 months ago

By Euclid division lemma, a=4q+r r=0,1,2,3 Case(i).r=0, a=4q=2(2q)=2m[even] (ii). r=1,a=4q+1=2(2q)+1=2m+1[even]

Simple reason is it valency is 4. So it requires more energy to donate or take electrons which it can't afford.

Varun Kumar Barnwal 5 years, 2 months ago

The ionic compound can only perform by donating and gaining of electrons but the carbon (first tetravalent compound in Periodic table) has not sufficient proton (p^+ = 4 ) to stable the 8 electrons( gain 4 and complete octate) and it cannot donate also because it has 4 electrons to donate but due to high intermolecular force it cannot. So it only form covalent compounds by sharing electrons.

Gaurav Seth 5 years, 2 months ago

The electronic configuration of carbon atom is 1s2 2s2 2px1 2py1 and has four valence electrons. In order to form ionic compound, it has to either lose four electrons or gain four electrons. Since very high energy are involved in doing so. Carbon does not form ionic compounds. It completes its octet by sharing of electrons and forms covalent compounds.

SKY BLUE KYU HOTE HAI , OUR ATMOSPHERE IS MADE UP OF VERY TINY PARTICLES , IT CONTAIN 78% OF NITROGEN AND 21% OXYGEN , THE RAY OF SUN WHICH PASSES THROUGH THE ATMOSPHERE WHICH CONTAIN ALL SEVEN COLOUR BUT THE THREE OF THEM(VOILET , INDIGO AND BLUE) ARE SCATTERED ON ATMOSPHERE BECAUSE OF SHORT WAVELENGTH .THE VOILET AND INDIGO HAS SMALLEST WAVE LENGTH , BOTH SCATTER ON THE TOPEST LAYER OF ATMOSPHERE AND ONLY BLUE ARRIVE TO OUR EYES.

Ansh Dwivedi 5 years, 2 months ago

(VIBGYOR) by this you can refer that vilot, indigo and blue have less wavelength . And sun is nearer to our earth so because of this atmosphere can't refract much amount of light in day time. And same happens with sunset and surise time red has greater wavelength than blue and any other colour . That time sun is far from us because of that all colour refract only red color don't refract by this you can say that in sunrise and sunset time the sky is red

Bhavesh Singh Panwar 5 years, 2 months ago

Because, In sky there is small particle present , and blue colour is scattered in small particle . We know that white colour is made up of seven colour VIBGYOR . ;Therefore colour of sky blue during day time.

1445 = 1190*1 + 255
1190 = 255*4 + 170
255 = 170*1 + 85
170 = 85*2 + 0
So, now the remainder is 0, then HCF is 85
Now,
85 = 255 - 170
(1445 - 1190) - (1190 - 255*4)
⇒ 1445 - 1190 - 1190 + 255*4
⇒ 1445 - 1190*2 + (1445 - 1190)*4
⇒ 1445 - 1190*2 + 1445*4 - 1190*4
⇒ 1445*5 - 1190*6
⇒ 1190*(- 6) + 1445*5
1190m + 1445n , where m = - 6 and n = 5

.The earlier phase of industrialisation in which large scale production was carried out for international market not at factories but in decentralised units.
(i) Huge demand : The world trade expanded at a very fast rate during the 17th and the 18th centuries. The acquisition of colonies
was also responsible for the increase in demand. The town producers failed to produce the required quantity.
(ii) Powerful town producers :
• The town producers were very powerful,
• The producers could not expand the production a: will. This was because in the towns, urban crafts and trade guilds were powerful. These were associations of producers that trained craftspeople, maintained control over production, regulated competition and prices, and restricted the entry of new people within the trade.
(iii) Monopoly rights : The rulers granted different guilds the monopoly right to produce and trade in specific products It was therefore difficult for new merchants to set up business in towns. So they turned to the countryside.
(iv) New economic situation in the countryside : Open fields were disappearing in the countryside and the commons were being enclosed. Cottagers and poor peasants who were earlier depended on common lands became jobless So when merchants came around and offered advances to produce, peasants households eagerly agreed.

It is quite true freedom is as essential as air we breathe. If you have freedom, you can create any anything; but if you don’t have it, life appears hard struggle. If a man has all the luxuries but no freedom, those luxuries can't make him happy. On the contrary if he has less luxuries, but complete freedom, he will be happy. Freedom is life. Without freedom life is worse than hell.

Life is all about man attaining freedom. In the past man lived in various types of slaveries. In the Stone Age he strove to achieve freedom ignorance. He learnt to make fire, shelters, clothes, etc. Then with the formation of human societies, various ills such as discrimination on the basis of caste, color, creed, and financial status arose. Then men fought for political, social, and financial freedom.

Nelson Mandela had to fight war against racial discrimination. He felt choked as he grew up. He had to face discrimination at almost every step. Finally, his struggle bore fruit; he created history when he was elected as the president of South Africa. It is for freedom that he dedicated his life.

Similarly man’s quest for total freedom is going on. Challenges such as fatal diseases, pollution, advancement of science and technology stand as unconquerable mountains in front of him. Man must work harder to be free of all types of bondages. Only then he can say he is truly free. He is busy making strategies to overcome them. Freedom is essential for man’s happiness. Without it man’s life is meaningless.
