Federalism in India is practised by the creation of linguistic states ,language policy and centre state relations.
Linguistic states:- in 1947 ,the boundaries of several old states were changed in order to create new states . This was done to ensure that people who spoke the same language lived in the same state .Some of them were not only created on the basis of language but to recognise differences based on culture, ethnicity or geography. For example:- Nagaland,Uttrakhand and Jharkhand.
Language policy:- Our constitution did not give the status of national language to any one language. Hindi was identified as the official language. But it is the mother tongue of only about 40% of Indians Therefore they were many safeguards to protect other languages. Besides Hindi,there are 21other languages recognisddras scheduled languages by the Indian constitution.
Centre - State relations :- Reconstructing the centre state relations in one more way in which federalism has been strengthened in practice. Since, 1990 coalition government were at the centre . No single party got a clear majority in the lok sabha, the major national parties had to enter into an alliance with many parties including several regional parties to form a government at the centre. This led to a new culture of power sharing at the centre. This led to a new culture of power sharing amd respect for the autonomy of the State Governments.

2x - y = 2
y = 2x - 2 ...(1)
x + 3y = 15 ...(2)
Substituting the value of y from (1) in (2), we get,
x + 6x - 6 = 15
7x = 21
x = 3
From (1),
y = 2
3 - 2 = 4

Given, the capacity of 1st tank =850 liters
And the capacity of 2nd tank= 680 liters
Now, the maximum capacity of a container which can measure the kerosene oil of both the
tankers when used an exact no.of times = HCF of 850 and 680
850 = 2 * 5 * 5 * 17
680 = 2 * 2 * 2 * 5 * 17
HCF(850, 680) = 2 * 5 * 17 = 170
Hence, the container which can measure petrol of either tank exactly must be of 170
liters.

We have been given, x2 - 2x + 1 = 0
Now we also know that for an equation ax2 + bx + c = 0, the discriminant is given by the following equation:
D = b2 - 4ac
Now, according to the equation given to us, we have,a = 1, b = -2 and c = 1.
Therefore, the discriminant is given as,
D = (-2)2 - 4(1)(1)
= 4 - 4
= 0
Since, in order for a quadratic equation to have real roots, D ≥ 0.Here we find that the equation satisfies this condition, hence it has real and equal roots.
Now, the roots of an equation is given by the following equation,
x=-b± underroot D / 2a
Therefore, the roots of the equation are given as follows,
x=-(-2)±0 / 2(1)
=2 / 2
= 1
Therefore, the roots of the equation are real and equal and its value is 1.

It should be cleaned before burning due to the following reasons:
- Magnesium very reactive element which rapidly reacts with oxygen in the air to form a white layer of magnesium oxide and this layer will not burn.
- To remove the Magnesium oxide layer from the ribbon which may prevent or slow down the burning of magnesium ribbon.
- Unwanted impurities deposited on the magnesium ribbon can be removed and only pure magnesium can be used for the reaction.

- The Government of India embarked upon introducing agricultural reforms to improve Indian agriculture in the 1960's and 1970's.
- The Green Revolution based on the use of package technology and the White Revolution were some of the strategies initiated to improve a lot of Indian agriculture.
- Provision for crop insurance against flood, drought, cyclone, fire and disease, the establishment of Grameen banks, cooperative societies and banks for providing loan facilities to the farmers at lower rates of interest were some important steps in this direction.
- Kissan Credit Card (KCC), Personal Accident Insurance Scheme (PAIS), are some other schemes introduced by the government of India for the benefit of farmers.

- The development goal differs in each individual. The phrase means that each person defines development in his/her own way. The steps which shift them to success are considered as development by them.
- Development of one leads to the destruction of others. For example, if the government finds that in a farm of the rural village huge amount of methane is found in depth, for the development of country it will try to take over it. But this may not be accepted by the village people as they feel that it will destroy their development in farming and agriculture
