Let the original speed y km/ hr and total time taken be x h

Distance = xy

[ Distance = time × speed]

(y + ½) (x - 1) = xy

xy -  y +  x/2 - ½ = xy

x/2 - y = ½ ………………(1)

[Distance covered in each case is same]

(y -1) (x + 3) = xy

xy + 3y -x -3 = xy

-x + 3y = 3……………..(2)

Multiply equation 1 by 3 ,

3x/2 - 3y = 3/2…………(3)

On adding eq 2 and 3,

-x + 3y = 3

3x/2 - 3y = 3/2

---------------------

-x +3x/2 = 3/2 +3

(-2x + 3x)/2 = (3+6)/2

x/2  = 9/2

x = 9

On Putting x = 9 in eq 2

-x + 3y = 3

-9 + 3y = 3

3y = 3 +9

3y = 12

y = 12/3

y = 4

Distance covered by man = xy = 9 × 4 = 36 km

Original speed of walking = y = 4 km/h

Hence, the Distance covered by man is 36 km & Original speed of walking is 4 km/h.

0=0 (as we all know).. If write it as 20-20 =25-25 (I didn't see any problem in this statement) Then, If we write 20-20 as (4×5)-(4×5) there is no problem.... similarly we write 25-25 as (5×5)-(5×5). ....then if we take 4 in L.H.S as a common digit. And take 5-5 in bracket..... similarly we take 5 in R.H.S as a common digit...and take 5-5 in bracket.... And in both the sides L.H.S AND R.H.S. we have to see that (5-5) in common then we cut it .. Now we have to see 4=5and we also write it as 2+2=5. ?????????????????? Giuseppe Mazzini was an Italian revolutionary. He was born in 1807. He became a member of the secret society of the Carbonari. When he was 24 years old, he was sent into exile in 1831 for attempting a revolution in Liguria. After that, he founded two more underground societies; first Young Italy in Marseilles and then Young Europe in Berne. Mazzini believed that God had intended nations to be the natural units of mankind. So Italy had to be forged into a single unified republic instead of being a patchwork of small state kingdoms. Following in the footsteps of Mazzini, many secret societies were set up Germany, France, Switzerland and Poland. The Conservatives feared Mazzini.

While the conservative regimes were trying to consolidate their power, the liberals and nationalists continued to spread the idea of revolution. These people belonged to the educated middle-class elite; like professors, school teachers, clerks and members of the commercial middle classes.

Blood vessels are the channels or conduits through which blood is distributed to body tissues. The vessels make up two closed systems of tubes that begin and end at the heart. One system, the pulmonary vessels, transports blood from the right ventricle to the lungs and back to the left atrium

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 1 month ago

  • Blood vessels are the tube like structures which carry the blood through cells, tissues and organs.
  • Two types of blood vessels are arteries and veins which are connected to the heart for transporting blood.
  • Arteries –
  • Carry blood rich in oxygen from the heart to all the cells of the body.
  • The pressure exerted by the arteries while blood leave heart is rapid and thus wall walls of arteries are thick.
  • Veins –
  • Veins carry blood rich in carbon di oxide from all the cells of the body to the heart.
  • The pressure exerted by the walls of the veins is less and have thin walls.
  • Valves present in the veins ensure that the blood flows only towards the heart.
