Kerala has a better Human Development Index ranking in comparison to Punjab even though Punjab has a higher per capita income in comparison to Kerala because of the following reasons. Education: Kerala has a higher level of literacy rate than Punjab. In fact the literacy rate of Kerala is the highest in India. In Kerala the literacy rate is ninety-one per cent which is almost as high as that of China. This is mainly because education has been made available to everyone in Kerala whether they are upper caste or the lower caste. There is no bias in the field of education which is one of the major reasons why Kerala has a better HDI than Punjab. Health care: The health care facilities in Kerala are far better than those in Punjab. Kerala has over 2700 government medical hospitals with 330 beds per 1 00 000 population which is the highest in India making it achieve a higher ranking in the HDI. Politics: The political parties in Kerala have taken steps for genuine welfare of the people and have invested intelligently and methodologically in the field of health and education. The government of Kerala has even worked for the land reforms in the State to support the people.

Albert Einstein showed the sparks of genius even at a young age. His miserable years at school revealed how a talented creative mind feels trapped and cloistered in the rigid system of education. The classroom had no place for individual aspirations brilliance or aptitude. It discouraged Albert’s genius and originality.
Albert’s defiance is misunderstood by his teacher’s. His “unthinking honesty” is seen as a refusal to confirm to the education and not the learning of facts. His maths teacher had a high opinion of him. He said. “I can’t teach you more and probably you’ll soon be able to teach me’. Albert was humble and unassuming and he was uncomfortable with the excessive praise. The teacher seems to recognize Albert’s rare intellectual genius and his aptitude for maths.
Albert has an enquiring mind and a curious nature. He had a thirst for information and he liked to study books on science. He loved music and played his violin regularly. Albert had a frank and honest temperament and was quite sensitive and emotional. He was considered a rebel by most of his teachers. He did not compromise and adjust to the system of education which encouraged learning without understanding. For him, ideas and enquiry were more important than facts or dates. He was expelled from school for his views which did not match the existing pattern.

The 1848 revolution of the liberals refers to the various national movements pioneered by educated middle classes alongside the revolts of the poor, unemployed and starving peasants and workers in Europe. The Frankfurt Parliament was called to discuss reforms and attempt to draft a constitution for a unified Germany. This was seen as the best way to stop the political unrest. The constitution was completed in March 1849: the German states were to be united as a German Empire headed by a German Emperor.

Sewage can be treated close to where the sewage is created, which may be called a "decentralized" system or even an "on-site" system (in septic tanks, biofilters or aerobic treatment systems). Alternatively, sewage can be collected and transported by a network of pipes and pump stations to a municipal treatment plant.

A molecule of soap has two dissimilar ends. At one end is the hydrocarbon chain which is water repellent. At the other end carboxylate anion is present which is water soluble end. When soap is dissolved in water, many molecules come together and form a group called micelle, these micelles are formed because their hydrocarbon chains come together and the polar ends are projected outward. Micelle formation in ethanol will not occur because the hydrocarbon chain end of the soap will also dissolve in water.

The Rowlatt Act was passed hurriedly through the Imperial Legislative Council despite opposition from Indian members. It gave the government autocratic powers to repress political activities besides allowing it to detain political prisoners without a trial, for two years. The Indian were outraged by this act as it was clearly undemocratic and oppressive, and hurt national sentiments and dignity.

Good stress happens when we confront a situation we believe we can manage or control. Here’s an example:
A child is coasting down a hill on a bike with just one hand on the handlebars. When she sees a pothole up ahead, she feels stress and instinctively puts her other hand on the bars.
Bad stress erodes confidence and makes us question our ability. At this point, the girl lets the bike drop in the mud and she runs, as fast as she can, toward her home.

Cheap and affordable credit is crucial for the country's development due to the following factors:
- More lending would lead to higher incomes and encourage people to invest in agriculture, engage in business and set up small scale industries.
- Cheap credit means more income would be left with the borrower to reinvest rather than return as interest. This leads to acceleration of economic activity.
- Cheap credit would also allow weaker sections of society to enter formal sector of lending and rid them of exploitation at the hands of informal moneylenders. Thus, it may improve the economic condition of the poor and landless.

Foot steps and hand-spans are not the ideal or standard unit of length because these are not accurate. Even though one can measure using his body parts but these are not universal measurements. The size of body parts of different people vary. Different measures will lead to confusion so that is why we have chosen a unique standard measuring unit of length as to prevent these confusions.

In politics, a political party is an organized group of people who have the same ideology, or who otherwise have the same political positions, and who field candidates for elections, in an attempt to get them elected and thereby implement their agenda. In some democracies, there are only two big political parties. For example, in the United States, there is the Democratic Party and the Republican Party. Some other parties exist but are very small and do not hold seats in Congress. In other countries there are larger numbers of parties.

Convex mirrors always produce a virtual, erect and diminished image and the decrease in size of image depends on the position of the object in front of the mirror.
Plane Mirrors always produce a virtual and erect image having the same size as that of the object irrespective of the position of object.
Concave mirrors produce real and virtual, erect and inverted, diminished, same-sized and magnified image depending upon the position of the object on the principal axis. But the concave mirror forms a virtual image only when the object is placed between the Focus and the pole of the mirror but the image is magnified (enlarged).
