Genes are the basic unit of heredity. They hold the genetic information in the form of DNA which can be translated into useful proteins to carry out life processes. These genes undergo a mutation sometimes, which changes the instructions to formulate the protein, due to which the protein does not work properly. Such disorders are known as genetic disorders.
Some disorders are innate, i.e., present by birth, while others are acquired due to mutations in a particular gene.

According to Euclid’s Division Lemma if we have two positive integers a and b, then there exist unique integers q and r which satisfies the condition a = bq + r where 0 ≤ r < b.
The basis of the Euclidean division algorithm is Euclid’s division lemma. To calculate the Highest Common Factor (HCF) of two positive integers a and b we use Euclid’s division algorithm. HCF is the largest number which exactly divides two or more positive integers. That means, on dividing both the integers a and b the remainder is zero.

To calculate the value of g, we should put the values of G, M and R
Where G=universal gravitational constant, G=6.7×10–11Nm2kg−2
mass of the earth, M=6×1024kg,
and radius of the earth, R=6.4×106m.
g=GM/R2
g= [6.67×10−11×6×1024] /(6×106)2 =9.8m/s2
Thus, the value of acceleration due to gravity of the earth, g=9.8m/s2
Also we know Weight in nothing but the force exerted by the earth with a value of acceleration =9.8m/s2
Now at the poles the value of acceleration due to gravity is higher as compared to the equator as the constant value of g depends on the radius of the earth which decreases when we come down from poles to the equator.

Reflection of light is the phenomenon of bouncing back of light in the same medium on striking the surface of any object.
• The two laws of reflection are:
(i) the incident ray, the reflected ray and the normal (at the point of incidence), all lie in the same plane.
(ii) the angle of reflection (<i>r</i>) is always equal to the angle of incidence (<i>i</i>)
∠<i>r</i> = ∠<i>i</i>
