Ocean water is constantly in motion: north-south, east-west, alongshore, and vertically. Seawater motions are the result of waves, tides, and currents. Ocean movements are the consequence of many separate factors: wind, tides, Coriolis effect, water density differences, and the shape of the ocean basins.

Incomplete dominance: When none of the factors of a gene is dominant, the phenotype of a heterozygous dominant individual is a blend of dominant and recessive traits. For example, flower colour in Mirabilis jalapa.

Co-dominance: When both recessive and dominant traits are expressed in a heterozygous genotype. This means that none of the factors is recessive but both can express themselves irrespective of their presence in homozygous or heterozygous condition. For example, IA and IB alleles of I gene of ABO blood group.

The line graph shows estimated sales of gold in Dubai for 12 months in 2002 in millions of Dirhams

The line graph gives information about gold trade in Dubai from January to December of the year 2002.

It is clear in the graph that the gold sales reached its highest level of selling in March and it fell to its lowest level between July and September.

In the beginning of the year the gold price stood at 200 millions of dirhams and it increased slightly in the following month before the figures showed a sharp rise in March, with the selling was about 350 million of dirhams.

In contrast, after the trend reached a peak in March with its highest gold trading, the figures decreased gradually for the next 4 months from April, May, June and July with 250, 200, 150, and 120 million of dirhams, respectively. Surprisingly enough, there was a strong recovery for the Dubai gold sales in August with the selling was about 200 million of dirhams and it fluctuated before it was levelling off until the end of the year and the trading closed nearly 200 million of dirhams in December.

Acid rain water, if mixed with river water, lowers its pH below 5.6, i.e., makes river water acidic. But the living body works normally within a pH range of 7-7.8. That's why flow of acid rain water to river makes the survival of aquatic life in the river difficult.

Subject:Concern over the rising no. of vehicles on roads in India causing Problems ..

Respected Sir,

I am a resident of 12 Nepeon Sear Road , Mumbai . I am writing this letter to show my concern over the Rising no. of vehicles in India.

India is a vast country. With an enormous population,And due to a lot of people there are a huge no. of vehicles everyday on the roads . People go to works , jobs etc. , Autos, Rickshaws run, But this is putting a huge impact on Air , people and economy . The pollution caused by Smoke of vehicles produce harmful gasses such as Carbonmonoxide etc. These are very dangerous and May prove fatal if exhaled. They pollute the environment and air.The health risks of air pollution are extremely serious. Poor air quality increases respiratory ailments like asthma and bronchitis, heightens the risk of life-threatening conditions like cancer, and burdens our health care system with substantial medical costs. Particulate matter is singlehandedly responsible for up to 30,000 premature deaths each year.

but as there is a solution to every problem . there are many ways of getting control over this.Clean vehicle and fuel technologies provide us with an affordable, available means of reducing transportation-related air pollution and climate change emissions. These include fuel-efficient vehicles that use less oil; cleaner fuels that produce fewer emissions; and electric cars and trucks that can entirely remove tailpipe emissions.

I hope that you will publish my views in your newspaper,So that the public May get aware and wake up from their slumber and take necessary steps to save their lives and environment too.

yours Sincerely

Amit

Anil does not hand the thief over to the police because he has put the money back at its place. It shows that he realized his fault. He wants to make amends for his ways. He must have felt guilty with himself.

As Lencho had predicted the rain did come. At the meal time, it came in the form of big drops. Naturally, the rain gladdened his heart. He could see better prospects of a good crop. However, his happiness was short-lived. Suddenly, a strong wind began to blow. The rain turned into big hailstones. The falling of heavy ball of big hailstones for an hour completely destroyed everything, leaves, trees and the standing crops. Naturally, such a heavy loss put Lencho into a deep concern.
