Impalpable means unable to touch or feel. The water which rises from the land and the oceans cannot be touched and also cannot be easily comprehended as it's state keeps on changing but the content remains the same. Hence, the rain calls itself impalpable.

Nishtha ?? 4 years, 10 months ago (9180096)

The rain calls itself impalpable because it rises out of the land and the sea as vapours, which cannot be touched.

Draw the fig.. Join both ends of the design...... Two triangles will form......now, take any quadrant and find its area. Then subtract the area of triangle inside the respective quadrant fro the area of quadrant.. You will find the area of one part of design... Since other quadrant is similar to first one..so double the area of one part of design....you will get the area of whole design........ This was how'll you understand.... For solution:-...2[(area of quadrant)-(area of triangle)]......... May it help....

Pawandeep Kaur 4 years, 10 months ago (9682243)

The Happy prince saw the misery of the poor people. His heart melted with pity for them . Their sufferings brought tears in his eyes. He gave away his ruby, sapphires and all the gold for the poor. He became blind . His body looked ugly. But he was happy at heart because he had given away his all for the poor. The Happy prince came to know that real happiness lay in the service of the poor. God blessed him and kept him in his city of gold.

Akshiii ?? 4 years, 10 months ago (4802688)

The happy Prince was a beautiful statue. This statue was on a tall pillar. The prince was covered with gold. There were two sapphires in place of eyes. He had a ruby in his sword hilt. He could see all the around the city . When he was alive,he lived in a palace. He was always happy. He had not seen a miseries of life. But now he could see miseries around him. He saw the hungry and the homeless. He was very sad. One day , a swallow come there. He saw the prince in tears. The prince told him that he wanted to help poor and sad people . He sent his ruby and sapphires of his eyes to the poor people. Now he was blind. He sent his gold also. Now he looked ugly. The swallow begin to love the prince. The winter came but the swallow did not go away. He lived with the prince. One day , the swallow died. This broke the leaden heart of the statue. The statue was no longer beautiful. It was melted in furnace. But the leaden heart did not melt. It was throw in the dust heap. The dead swallow was also lying there. God sent one of his angels to bring the most precious things. He took the dead swallow and the leaden heart to God. Both these things were really fit for paradise.
