Let x be 0.27 bar x = 0.27bar 100x = 100 × 0.27bar 100x = 27.27bar 100x = 27 + 0.27bar 100x = 27 + x (as x is equal to 0.27bar) 100x - x = 27 99x = 27 x = 27/99 x = 3 /11 Therefore, 27bar = 3/11
