1/3 and 1/2 ( To make them like fractions) LCM of 3 and 2 is 6 1/3 × 2/2 = 2/6 1/2 × 3×3 = 3/6 Now , 2/6 and 3/6 ( There is only 1 no. between 2/6 and 3/6 , so we will multiply it with any bigger no. to find their equivalent fractions so that we can find multiple numbers between them . Here I am multiplying both the numbers with 10 . Make sure you multiply both the fractions with same number) 2/6 × 10/10 = 20/60 3/6 × 10/10 =30/60 20/60 and 30/60 Therefore, five numbers between 20/60 and 30/60 i.e 1/3 and 2 /3 are 21/60 , 22/60 , 23/60 , 24/60 and 25/60.
