Cost of raw material = x²

Cost of transportation = 2x

Property tax = 5,000

Therefore ,

(i) C(x) = x² + 2x + 5000

(ii) MC = 2x + 2

Now, x = 21,

MC = 2(21) + 2 = 42 + 2 = 44

(iii) x = 50,

MC. = 2(50) + 2 = 100+2 = 102
