What is EVS at the primary level?
EVS or Environmental Studies, as the name suggests, is a study of human interaction with the environment. It is one such subject that has elements of many other subjects. For example, it connects principles from the sciences and social sciences to bring forth the present environmental issues. It deals with our day-to-day experiences and presents information in a relatable way concerning our immediate environment. It makes children aware of the overall environment and somehow teaches valuable life hacks. Hence, the reason is quite clear as to why EVS is an important subject at the primary level.
