Proof: By distance formula, AB=(−2−2)2+(1+2)2=16+9=25=5 BC=(−2−5)2+(1−2)2=(−7)2+(−1)2=50=52 Length of the hypotenuse AC=(5−2)2+(2+2)2=(3)2+(4)2=25 ∴AB2+AC2=25+25=50=BC2 ∴ △ ABC is a right-angled triangle Area of the triangle ABC = 21[x1(y2−y3)+x2(y3−y1)+x3(y1−y2)]sq. Area of the △ABC =21×Base×height =21×5×5 =225sq.units.

Here ,both bulbs are connected in parallel combination .So voltage of both the bulbs are same. Power is inversely proportion to the resistance of the wire(P=V square/R). So the bulb which have low resistance having more power .Bulbs which have more power glow more.. Resistance of 1st bulb P=60 V=220 R= 220*220* 60=806.6ohm Resistance of 2nd bulb P=80 V=220 R=220*200/80=605ohm Here ,the resistance of 2nd bulb is low so power of 2nd bulb is more.Second bulb rated 80W,220V glow more..
