The proximal tubule efficiently regulates the pH of the filtrate by exchanging hydrogen ions in the interstitium for bicarbonate ions in the filtrate; it is also responsible for secreting organic acids, such as creatinine and other bases, into the filtrate.
The proximal tubule is responsible for the reabsorption of ~ 60% of previously filtered potassium. Solvent drag and diffusion have been proposed as the major driving forces of this process, and K+ is reabsorbed largely via the paracellular pathway.

Binary fission:-~For unicellular organisms, cell division,or fission, leads to the creation of new individual.~ Protozoa split into two equal halves and amoeba, the splitting of two cells during division can take place. Fragmentation:- ~In multi-cellular organisms, with simple body organization this occurs.~ Spirogyra breaks up into small pieces upon maturation. These fragments grow into new individuals.

You can do it by elimination method Let X+Y=5 be 1st eqn. And 3X+Y=11 be 2nd eqn. Subtract eqn. 2 from 1 This became 2X=6 X=3 Put value of X in eqn.1 Y=2

The two major reasons why power sharing is desirable in democracy are :- 1) PRUDENTIAL = It helps reduce the possibility of conflict as it ensures that the voice of all communities in a democracy is heard by the government. As social conflict leads to political instability, power sharing is a good way of ensuring stability in political order. In democracies, both majority and minority have the sovereign freedom to live together. 2) MORAL = Power sharing is the very spirit of democracy. In democracies, the power is shared between those who are affected by its exercise and those who have to live by its effects. In a democratic society, power is always shared in some way or the other. A legitimate government is one wherein, citizens through participation can obtain a stake in the system.
