When Mandela and his comrades underwent the grimmiest times in prison, pushed to their limits beyond tolerance, he was still able to see a glimmer of humanity deep within the eyes of one of the white guards, perhaps just for a fraction of a second. But, that he considered was more than enough to keep him going on with his struggles. That was when he realised that man's goodness is something which can be hidden but never extinguished.

I use a common pattern of answering a question. My teachers have taught me that righting a heading (1/2) and a one line explanation (1/2) assures me a 1 mark. If I write three points so, I would get three points. Try that method. It might help you later. And SURPRISINGLY, I have never seen that pattern used in google.

A major step was taken in 1992 by providing constitutional status to the Panchayati Raj Institutions through the 73rd Amendment Act of the Constitution of India. Such a step was taken with the aim of making democracy strong and effective by giving power to the grass root units of self government. It is decentralising power to the lower levels.
