Given, f(x) = x^2 - 2x. Therefore, f(x) = 0. x^2 - 2x = 0. x (x - 2) = 0. Thus, zeroes are 0 and 2.

(I) 31/2^2 * 5^3. Here, since the denominator is of the form 2^n * 5^n, the above number is terminating. Similarly, (II) 50 can be written as 5^2 * 2, (III) 625 = 5^4 and (IV) 1000 = 5^3 * 2^3.

we have to find the value of x and y so by using elimination method 7x-2y=9----------------eq1 we have to multiply eq1 by 3 to make the variable y same (7x-2y=9)*3 21x-6y=27-----------eq1 4x+6y=15------------eq2 by elimination method by adding the eq1 and eq2 21x-6y=27 4x+6y=15 the -6y and +6y get canclled so 24x=42 x=42/24 the value of x is 7/4 putting the value of x in eq2 4x+6y=15 4*7/4+6y=15 4 and 4 get canclled 7+6y=15 6y=15-7 6y=8 y=8/6 that is 4/3 the value of x=7/4 the value of y=4/3

Therefore, resistance of each part
➾ R/5
All the five parts are connected in parallel.
∴ equivalent resistance (R') is given as
1 / R'
➾ 5 / R + 5 / R + 5 / R + 5 / R + 5
➾ 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 / R
➾ 1 / R' = 25 / R

Initially many people welcomed French armies as harbingers of liberty. But the initial enthusiasm soon turned to hostility, as it became clear that the new administrative arrangements did not go hand in hand with political freedom. Increased taxation, censorship, forced conscription into the French armies as required to conquer the rest of Europe, all seemed to outweigh the advantages of the administrative changes.

1) Salivary glands = present in our mouth, secretion is saliva, enzyme present in secretion is salivary amylase, breaks down 30% starch to maltose. 2) GASTRIC GLANDS = present in stomach, secretion is gastric juice, enzyme present is pepsin, breaks down proteins into peptones. 3) LIVER = present in upper abdomen, secretes bile salts, has no enzymes but helps in emulsification of fats. 4) PANCREAS = found below the stomach, secretes pancreatic juice, enzymes present are trypsin (peptones -> peptides), pancreatic lipase (emulsified fats -> fatty acids and glycerol.) and amylase (70% starch to maltose). 5) INTESTINAL GLANDS = present in small intestine, secretes intestinal juice, enzymes present are intestinal lipase (emulsified fats -> fatty acids and glycerol), peptidase (peptides -> amino acids) and maltase (maltose -> glucose).

Displacement reaction. It is also an exothermic reaction

Vishvesh Mishra 4 years, 4 months ago

This is displacement reaction because the more reactive substance -Al displaces less reactive metal- Fe . Also it is exothermic reaction since heat is evolved.

unlock 35 lakh questions What's your doubt? 10th >Maths >Real Numbers >Revisiting Irrational Numbers >Prove that √(3) + √(5) is... Maths Bookmark Prove that 3 + 5 is irrational. Easy share Share Answer To prove : 3 + 5 is irrational. Let us assume it to be a rational number. Rational numbers are the ones that can be expressed in q p form where p,q are integers and q isn't equal to zero. 3 + 5 = q p 3 = q p − 5 squaring on both sides, 3= q 2 p 2 −2. 5 ( q p )+5 ⇒ q (2 5 p) =5−3+( q 2 p 2 ) ⇒ q (2 5 p) = q 2 2q 2 −p 2 ⇒ 5 = q 2 2q 2 −p 2 . 2p q ⇒ 5 = 2pq (2q 2 −p 2 ) As p and q are integers RHS is also rational. As RHS is rational LHS is also rational i.e 5 is rational. But this contradicts the fact that 5 is irrational. This contradiction arose because of our false assumption. so, 3 + 5 irrational.
