A Journey By Air : I have been deeply moved on three occasions in my life. The first was when I stood on The top of a snowy peak in the Niligiris. My first sight of the sea was another occasion which moved me very deeply. But my first flight in the air was the most exciting experience in my life. I took A Journey By Air. I was travelling form Chennai to Maldives by air. I entered the aeroplan in the morning. At first it was no better than getting into a car or bus. The noise of the machine made me feel that it was different. Soon the plan took off and rose in the air higher and higher. The buzzing sound which had fascinated me from ground now belonged to me. The things below looked so tiny. The plane flew very fast rushing through the air without a bump or a jolt when all of a sudden bad weather overtook us. The plane began to swing from side to side and the pilot was a little troubled in controlling it. But I felt happy like a bird swigging in the air. Some of the passengers moved about and felt sick. Some slept in their seats but I sat still with great attentions. I took the greatest pleasure in looking at the scenery of the different places as we passed over. After an hour’s flight we were told that we were passing over Indian Ocean which looked like a meadow from high in the air. It was a lovely sight. The sun was just setting. The ships below looked like toys which float in a tub of water. The blue sea on the right and left was simply enchanting. We had our dinner at our seats and I was introduced to the members of the plane crew. There was the chief pilot who commanded the plane. Then there was a co-pilot, a navigator and three belonging to the plane. One of them was an engineer, another radio expert and the third radioman. There were also pursers and air hostesses to look after the passengers. I do not know when I fell asleep. My father woke me up. It seemed to be a big dash through the air. I was very anxious to get a glimpse of main land. But when we were approaching the landing zone, strong winds overtook us. Fog blinded our views. I was badly disappointed. Our plane finally touched down at the airport from where we drove off to a hotel in the heart of city of Chicago. The whole flight had taken us nearly five hours. It was a very interesting and exciting one indeed.

Using resources carefully and giving them time to get renewed is called resource conservation. Balancing the need to use resources and also conserve them for the future is called sustainable development. There are many ways of conserving resources. Each person can contribute by reducing consumption, recycling and reusing thing. Ultimately it makes a difference because all our lives are linked.
Most of the natural resources are limited in stock. Even some of the renewable resources can become scarce if they are not used judiciously. Scientists predict that coal and petroleum are going to be exhausted in the near future. Hence, it is important to conserve natural resources. Conservation not only secures our life but also the lives of future generations.

Yes goal for development can be varied for example, a farmer wants cheap fertilisers, a labour wants full employment and satisfactory wages like wise our parents may want good school for us etc, so everyone is free to choose their goal but cannot snatch others freedom to fulfill own need and goals

On a graph paper, draw a horizontal line XOX' and a vertical line YOY' as the x-axis and they-axis respectively.
{tex}3x + y - 11 = 0{/tex} {tex}\Rightarrow{/tex}{tex}y = (11 -3x){/tex}. ...(i)
Putting {tex}x = 2{/tex} in (i), we get {tex}y = 5{/tex}.
Putting {tex}x = 3{/tex} in (i), we get {tex}y = 2{/tex}.
Putting {tex}x = 5{/tex} in (i), we get {tex}y = -4{/tex}.

x 2 3 5
y 5 2 -4

On the graph paper, plot the points {tex}A (2, 5), B(3, 2)\ and\ C(5, -4).{/tex}
Join AB and BC to get the graph line ABC.
Thus, the line ABC is the graph of the equation {tex}3x + y - 11 = 0{/tex}.
{tex}x - y - 1 = 0{/tex} {tex}\Rightarrow{/tex}{tex}y = (x - 1){/tex} . ...(ii)
Putting {tex}x = -3{/tex} in (ii), we get {tex}y = -4{/tex}.
Putting {tex}x = 0{/tex} in (ii), we get {tex}y = -1{/tex}.
Putting {tex}x = 3{/tex} in (ii), we get {tex}y = 2{/tex}.

x -3 0 3
y -4 -1 2

On the same graph paper as above, plot the points {tex}P(-3, -4)\ and\ Q(0, -1){/tex}. The third point {tex}B(3,2){/tex} is already plotted.
Join PQ and QB to get the graph line PQB.
Thus, line PQB is the graph of the equation {tex}x - y - 1 = 0{/tex}.
The two graph lines intersect at the point {tex}B(3,2){/tex}. {tex}x = 3, y = 2{/tex} is the solution of the given system of equations.
The region bounded by these lines and the y-axis has been shaded.

On extending the graph lines on both sides, we find that these graph lines intersect the y-axis at the points Q(0, -1) and R(0,11).

Yoga is the art of living life through the mental, spiritual and physical path. It helps in achieving stability and attention in the consciousness of the inner self. It helps in learning about mind, emotion, and physical needs and how to think more about how to cope with life's challenges. Yoga works at the level of body, mind and energy; Regular practice of yoga brings positive changes in the body, including strong muscles, flexibility, patience and good health. Both the statements are true but their meanings are different. Two people may have different developmental goals but they need not always be conflicting. For example, the developmental goal of different people may differ according to their status. A girl from a rich family may want the same freedom as her brother, may want to go on foreign trips, own a costly mobile, may want to study abroad etc. But a girl from a poor family will consider going to school and enjoying with friends as her developmental goal. Here the developmental goals are not conflicting.  An example of conflicting developmental goal can be the construction of a flyover to reduce waiting period at a railway crossing. This can be a developmental goal for an office goer. But if the construction of the flyover necessitates demolition of slums, it can be contradictory for the slum dwellers. But on the other hand, 24-hour electricity supply would be a developmental goal for almost each and every person.
