Power sharing among political parties, pressure groups and movements : Among political parties : choosing the various contenders for power is a choice and freedom that should be given to citizens this results in competition among different political parties in contemporary democracies this competition helps insuring That Power does not remain in the hands of one political party. Coalition government : in the long run power is shed around different political parties that a represent different ideology and social groups when an Alliance is formed among two or more political parties to contest elections the power sharing is direct if this Alliance wins the elections then the government formed will be a coalition government which will result in sharing of power among political parties. Pressure groups : By taking part in the decision making process and by participating in governmental committees the different interest group such as those of Industrialists, farmers, businessman and traders will also have a share in the governmental and powers.
