(a) An equation of chemical reaction is said to be balanced if there are same number of atoms of an element on both sides of arrow. Since mass can neither be created nor destroyed in a chemical reaction. (b) Equation 'P' is unbalanced equation. Balanced equation for the same is:- Ca(OH)² + 2H(NO)³ ------> Ca(NO³)² +2H²O

Hydrogen gas is release when acid is react with metal for example: Zn +HCL =ZnCl +H2 . To test the hydrogen gas: we can take one breaker in soap solution paas the gas through soap solution and then take burning candle near the solution when gas is release to make pop sound

Hydrogen gas is released when an acid react with metal. Eg- Zn + H2so4 = Znso4 + H2 This gas can be tested by bringing a burning candle on test tube's mouth where above rxn has took place. It produces a POP sound.
