mr.keesing was her mathematics teacher who is strict. anne used to talk more in the class, due to that he first punished her by giving extra homework which was to write an essay. the topic of the essay is ' A CHATTER BOX '. in that she wrote that it was a gene character/trait from her mother which cannot be avoided by her. when mr.keesing read it he began laughing. even after she was talked in the class, so the second topic he gave 'AN INCORRIGIBLE CHATTER BOX '. the studdents in the class began laughing along with anne was also laughing.

Anne was very talkative girl. mr. kessing, her maths teacher, didn't like this habit of hers. he punished her by giving her an essay to write on the topic 'A Chatter Box'. she wrote in her essay that talking is a students trait and i would do my best to control it, but i won't be able to cure this habit since my mother is also talkative. so, moving away from the inherited trait cannot be done. on reading her arguments, Mr. kessing had a good laugh. in other words she had justified her over talkative nature.

With age , Nelson Mandela realised that he had a lot of responsibilities of his people , his community and his country. As a boy , Mandela did not have a hunger for freedom because he thought that he was born free. He believes that he as long as he obeyed his father and abided by the customs of his tribe, he was free in every possible manner. Gradually, he realized that he was selfish during his boyhood. He slowly understood that it is not just his freedom that is being curtailed, but the freedom of all blacks . It is after attaining this understanding that he developed a hunger for the freedom of his people.

Metals have a shining surface. This property is called metallic lustre.
Metals can be beaten into thin sheets. This property is called malleability.
The ability of metals to be drawn into thin wires is called ductility.
Gold is the most ductile metal.
The best conductors of heat are silver and copper.
The metals that produce a sound on striking a hard surface are said to be sonorous.
All metals except mercury exist as solids at room temperature.
Almost all metals combine with oxygen to form metal oxides.
Metals such as potassium and sodium react so vigorously that they catch fire if kept in the open.
Metals react with water and produce a metal oxide and hydrogen gas.
Metals react with acids to give a salt and hydrogen gas.
Sodium and chloride ions, being oppositely charged, attract each other and are held by strong electrostatic forces of attraction to exist as sodium chloride (NaCl).
Ores mined from the earth are usually contaminated with large amounts of impurities such as soil, sand, etc., called gangue.
Metals low in the activity series are very unreactive.
The metals in the middle of the activity series such as iron, zinc, lead, copper, etc., are moderately reactive.
The sulphide ores are converted into oxides by heating strongly in the presence of excess air. This process is known as roasting.
The carbonate ores are changed into oxides by heating strongly in limited air. This process is known as calcination.
Galvanisation is a method of protecting steel and iron from rusting by coating them with a thin layer of zinc.
An alloy is a homogeneous mixture of two or more metals, or a metal and a non-metal.
