Evolution should not be equated with Progress:
There is no real progress in the concept of evolution. Evolution is just the production of diversity of life forms and shaping of this diversity by the environmental selection. When a new species is formed, it is not necessary that the old species will disappear from earth. It will all depend on the environment. Also it is not as if the newly formed species are in any way better than the older ones. It is simply that genetic drift and natural selection processes have combined to form a population having different body design and cannot interbreed with the older population.

The effect of electric current due to which heat is produced in a conductor, when current passes through it, is called the heating effect of electric current.
The total work (W) done by the current in an electric circuit is called electric energy and is given as
W = VIt = I²Rt
W = V² t /R
This energy is exhibited as heat. Thus, we have H = VIt = I2Rt.
This is called Joule’s Law of Heating, which states that the heat produced in a resistor is directly proportional to the Square of the current in the resistor, Resistance of the resistor, Time for which the current flows through the resistance

The substances that are used up in a chemical reaction (starting material) are the reactants and the new substances formed are called the products.
Reactants are written on the L.H.S. of the arrow. Products are written on the R.H.S. of the arrow.
For example,
2H2 + O2 → 2H2O
