Ammeter: In series connection, the same current flows through all the components. Ammeter aims at measuring the current flowing through the circuit and hence, it is connected in series: so that the same current that is there in the circuit flows through it and gets measured.
Ammeter has a low resistance, because we do not want to change the current that is flowing through the circuit.
Voltmeter: A voltmeter measures voltage change between two points in a circuit. So u have to place the meter probes at these two points, without removing the portion of circuit between the probes (or else you change the circuit). This then, by definition, places the voltmeter in parallel with the section of circuit between the probes.
When you place the meter probes at the two points you want to measure, a tiny portion of the current in the circuit will now go thru the meter and give you a reading. We make the voltmeter a very high resistance instrument. So when the current splits into the meter the high resistance allows only a tiny amount of original current to split into the meter.

Resources are vital for human survival as well as for maintaining quality of life. It was believed that resources are free gifts of nature. As a result, human beings used them indiscriminately. This led to the following major problems:-
Depletion of resources for the greed of few.Accumulation of resources in a few hands which in turn, divided the society into rich and poor.Indiscriminate use of resources causing various global ecological crises such as global warming, depletion of the ozone layer, environmental pollution & land degradation.

Raw materials are substances which cannot be directly utilized by the organisms. They require further processing inside the body like digestion in animals and photosynthesis in plants. CO2, water and minerals compounds are raw materials for plants while water, carbohydrate, protein, fat and vitamins are raw material for the animals. These raw materials are to be taken from outside by plants and animals, respectively.

resistance(R) is directly proportional(=) to length(l) ,
inversely proportional to area(A)
I) if length length is tripled I.e 3l
for initial R = l then what is the resistance(x) if length is 3l
then x= 3R
therefore resistance become triple time of initial
ll)R= 1/A = 1/(πr²)
2r =d ( diameter ) for initial
if diameter becomes triple
x= 1/(π(6r/2)²)
x = 1/(π/9r²)
x= 1/9(R)
I.e the resistance will decrease 9 times of initial

When current I is passing through a resistor R, the electric power that generates heat is given by the formula I²R. so, P= I²R
Here P is power/heat produced,I is current and R is resistance.
P = (2.5)²X 200
= 6.25 x 200
= 1250 Watts.

The drawbacks of majoritarianism are :
1. It asserts that a majority of the population based on religion, language, social class or some other identifying factor, is entitled to a certain degree of primacy in society and has a right to make decisions that affect the society. This can sometimes encroach upon the fundamental rights of the citizens.
2. Majoritarianism is referred to as a majority rule. That means a majority class ruling a minority class. This could lead to conflicts, and dissatisfaction amongst the minorities.
3.. Most decisions take place not by majority rule, but by plurality, unless the voting system restricts candidates or options to two only.
4. Due to Arrow's paradox it is not possible to have plurality voting systems with more than two options which adhere to both 'fairness' criteria and rational decision making criteria.
