For eg. H2 + O2 → H2O.... Here no.of atoms in lhs...for hydrogen is 2 and oxygen is also 2....but in RHS no of atom in hydrogen is 2 but in oxygen it is only 1..so by balancing it become.. 2H2+O2→ 2H2O...... In this no of atom in both side us equal... In LHS- H- 4, O-2...SAME IN RHS...H-4, O-2

To balance a chemical equation, start by writing down the number of atoms in each element, which is listed in the subscript next to each atom. Then, add coefficients to the atoms on each side of the equation to balance them with the same atoms on the other side

Euclid’s Division Lemma:

A lemma is a proven statement used for proving another statement.

Theorem 1: “Given positive integers a & b, there exist unique integers q & r satisfying a = b*q + r, 0 ≤ r < b”.

E.g. let’s assume that you have 34 apples & you have box that can accommodate 10 apples, then you have put these Apple in 3 boxes & you will have 4 apples remaining. Also note that the remaining apples are less than box size that is 10.

34 Apples = 10 Apples * 3 Box + 4 Apples

 If you compare this with Euclid’s Division Lemma

 a = b*q + r,                        0 ≤ r < b,

 Then a = 34, b=10, q=3 & r =4,                   0 ≤ 4 <10

In general, organic acids are weak acids and do not dissociate completely in water, whereas the strong mineral acids do. Lower molecular mass organic acids such as formic and lactic acids are miscible in water, but higher molecular mass organic acids, such as benzoic acid, are insoluble in molecular (neutral) form. A great way to identify whether or not you are looking at an organic acid is to find the carboxylic acid functional group, RCOOH. A weak acid is one that does not dissociate fully in water. ... Lactic acid, acetic acid, propionic acid, formic acid, butyric acid, valeric acid, oxalic acid, lactic acid, magic acid, citric acid, benzoic acid.

Lencho was waiting for the rain which his crops needed very much. According to Lencho his crops needed a downpour or a shower. The rain which he had been expecting did come. As we read the lesson according to Lencho the big rain drops were ten cent pieces whereas the little ones where fives. He was very happy after seeing the rain in his field. But suddenly the weather changed and big hailstones started to fall along with the rain. He wanted it to go away quickly but that did not happen. The rain which in the starting for him was a path for a better future shattered his dreams and changed the way his field was. All of Lencho's crops got ruined. There was not even one leaf left in the trees. The hailstorm had left lencho and his family in need for starvation. Hence, the same rain changed the shape of Lencho's field.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 8 months ago

In this sentence, Lencho used a metaphor here. Lencho is a "farmer" and he depends on rain for farming. He compares the raindrops with the new coins because the raindrops help him to grow and harvest the crops and it will also help Lencho to get more money which in turn enriches his lifestyle. So in order to get more money he should harvest the crops correctly. This is the reason why Lencho consider the raindrops as the new coins falling down from the sky.

Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821), also known as Napoleon I, was a French military leader and emperor who conquered much of Europe in the early 19th century. Born on the island of Corsica, Napoleon rapidly rose through the ranks of the military during the French Revolution (1789-1799). After seizing political power in France in a 1799 coup d’état, he crowned himself emperor in 1804. Shrewd, ambitious and a skilled military strategist, Napoleon successfully waged war against various coalitions of European nations and expanded his empire. However, after a disastrous French invasion of Russia in 1812, Napoleon abdicated the throne two years later and was exiled to the island of Elba. In 1815, he briefly returned to power in his Hundred Days campaign. After a crushing defeat at the Battle of Waterloo, he abdicated once again and was exiled to the remote island of Saint Helena, where he died at 51.
