In 1815 the European powers of Britain, Russia, prussia and Austria had collectively defeated Napoleon. Their chief representatives met at Vienna to come to a settlement for Europe. The Congress was hosted by Austrian chancellor Duke Metternich. The delegates grew up the Treaty of Vienna in 1815 with the aim of  undoing what Napoleon had transferred in Europe.

1.The Bourbon dynasty was restored to power in France. They were deposed during the French Revolution. France lost its territories which had been annexed under Napoleon.

2. A series of states were carved out on the French frontiers to prevent French expansion in the coming future. Thus , the kingdom of Netherlands which included Belgium was set up in the north and Genoa was added to Piedmont in the south.

Prussia was given new territories on its Western Frontiers while Austria was given control of Northern Italy. The German confederation of 39 States was left and it is.

4. In the east, Russia was given a part of Poland why Prussia was given a portion of Saxony. The main aim was to restore the monarchies  that were overthrown by Napoleon and re-establish the authority of Conservatives in Europe.

For removing oxygen layer

Ramadevi Saravanan 5 years, 7 months ago

Magnesium ribbon reacts with oxygen present in the air to form a protective and inert layer of magnesium oxide on its surface. This layer is unreactive & prevents the ribbon from burning. Hence, it needs to be cleaned with sand paper before burning it

Minu Shiwani Chandel 5 years, 7 months ago

We rub magnesium beacause magnesium carbonate a basic protective layer is covered on it,we remove this basic layer before burn it in the air.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 7 months ago

When exposed to air many metals will slowly react with oxygen in the atmosphere to form metal oxides and magnesium is one of those metals. Like rusting in case of iron, with magnesium, the oxide layer forms a white coating on the outside of the metal that will slow down or interfere with the burning process. Rubbing with sand paper helps to remove this oxide layer due to which burning speeds up.

Land resources in India are primarily divided into agricultural land, forest land, land meant for pasture and grazing, land for other non-agricultural use(such as housing, roads and industry) and waste land (rocky, arid and desert areas). In 2002-03, 54 per cent of the total land area was cultivable or fallow, 22.5 per cent was covered by forests and 3.5 per cent was used for grazing. The rest was waste land, with traces of miscellaneous cultivation.

Electric potential is the work done per unit charge in bringing the charge from infinity to that point against electrostatic force.

In a conductor, electrons flow only when there is a difference in electric pressure at its ends. This is also called potential difference. In a circuit, this potential difference is created by a battery.
