3X - 5Y = 4----------(1)
9X - 2Y = 7-------------(2)
From EQUATION (1) we get,
3X - 5Y = 4
3X = 4+5Y
X = 4+5Y/3 -------------(3)
Putting the value of X in equation (2)
9X - 2Y = 7
9 × (4+5Y/3) - 2Y = 7
3(4+5Y) - 2Y = 7
12 + 15Y - 2Y = 7
13Y = 7 -12
13Y = -5
Y = -5/13
Putting the value of X in equation (3)
X = 4+5Y/3 => 3 + 5 × -5/13 = 3 - 25/13 /3
X = 39 - 25/13/3 = 14/13/3 => 14/13 × 1/3 => 14/9

- The ration of potential difference applied between the ends of a conductor and the current flowing through it is a constant quantity called resistance.
- The property of the conduct due to which it opposes the flow of current through it is called as resistance of conductor.
- 1 ohm is the resistance of a conductor such that when a potential difference of 1 volt is applied to its ends, a current of 1ampere flows through it.

Political parties play a pivotal role in shaping and mobilising public opinion on important social, political and economic matters. They often bring important issues of the society into the media spotlight. The party machinery i.e. its cadre and general membership, plays an important role. Many pressure groups often act as extensions of the political parties among different sections of society. Naturally, these pressure groups propagate among their members, the political line of their parent parties. Political parties also launch movements for the redressal of certain issues. Opposition parties question the policies of the government in public and organise protest march and rallies on any controversial decision taken by the government. This helps in creating awareness and shaping public opinion.

Carbon dioxide is more soluble in water than oxygen and hence is mostly transported in the dissolved form in our blood. Carbon dioxide (CO2) is more soluble in water than oxygen. That is why, as compared to oxygen a much larger volume of it is transported in dissolved form in our blood from tissues to the lungs.

Copper turns green because of chemical reactions with the elements. Just as iron that is left unprotected in open air will corrode and form a flaky orange-red outer layer, copper that is exposed to the elements undergoes a series of chemical reactions that give the shiny metal a pale green outer layer called a patina. Copper metal when exposed to air turns green in colour due to corrosion. When copper vessel is exposed to air in rainy season, the metal reacts with gases and moisture and atmospheric gases to form a mixture of copper carbonate and copper hydroxide. This gives a green colour to the surface of copper metal.

Giuseppe Mazzini He was an Italian revolutionary, who was born in Genoa in 1807. He was sent into exile at the age of 24 in 1831 for attempting a revolution in Liguria. He founded two secret societies, namely Young Italy and Young Europe. He inspired the young members of these societies to involve in revolutionary activities.
Following his ideas and on the model of his secret societies, more such societies were set up in Germany, France, Switzerland and Poland. Austrian Chancellor Duke Matternich once described him as ‘the most dangerous enemy of our social order’.
