The Goan people are quite attached to their colonial past under the Portuguese rule. They are nostalgic about their good old Portuguese days, the Portuguese people and their famous loaves of bread.
The Goans remember their past under the colonial rule with nostalgia and fond recollections:
- Goa had not gained Independence with the rest of India. This is because they were colonized by the Portuguese and not the British.
- In 1961 Goa gained freedom . The Portuguese were forced to leave.
- But even today the Goans remember their past under the colonial rule with nostalgia.
- They miss the good old Portuguese days especially the Portuguese bakery.
- The smell and taste of the Portuguese bread still linger on their palates.
- To keep the memories alive they have still kept the Portuguese bakeries.
- Every morning the baker called ‘Pader’ a Portuguese word, comes thudding his stick and announces the fresh breads.
- In rituals too the Goans stick to the items of the Portuguese bakery.

The atomic mass of 235U is approximately 235 u, so the are 0.235 kg of uranium per mole. The total binding energy released in fission of an atomic nucleus varies with the precise break up, but averages about 200 MeV* for U-235 or 3.2 x 10-11 joule. This is about 82 TJ/kg. That from U-233 is about the same, and that from Pu-239 is about 210 MeV* per fission.

The disadvantages of power sharing are:
1. Overlapping of work, leading to confusion.
2. High budget, as many people are required to govern different spheres, thus expensive government.
3. Overlapping roles lead to corruption.
4. Unnecessary competition in different regions.
5. It leads to the widening of gap between rich and poor states.

pH scale
- A scale developed to measure the concentration of hydrogen ion in a solution is known as pH scale where p in pH implies ‘potenz’ in German.
- pH scale ranges from 0 (highly acidic) – 14 (highly alkaline).
- The pH of a neutral solution is 7.
- Acidic solution is represented by a value less than 7 on the pH scale.
- Whereas basic solution is represented by a value greater than 7 on the pH scale.
- An increase in OH– ions concentration in the solution results in increase in the strength of alkali hence the value of pH increases.
- Acids giving rise to more H+ ions are strong acids whereas those giving rise to less H+ ions are termed as weak acids

- Thermal decomposition reaction A thermal decomposition reaction can be defined as a decomposition reaction which is activated by thermal energy. The reaction is generally endothermic as energy is required to break the chemical bond in order to separate the constituent elements.
- example of thermal decomposition reaction
- CaCO3 → CaO + CO2 When heated Calcium Carbonate, decomposes into Calcium Oxide and Carbon Dioxide. This process is employed in the manufacturing of quick lime which is an important component in industries.

Power sharing means the distribution of power among the organs of the government such as the legislature, executive, and judiciary. Power sharing helps in achieving the stability of political order. In power-sharing, power might even be shared at distinct levels such as union, state and local.
Power sharing is a term used to describe a system of governance in which all major segments of society are provided a permanent share of power; this system is often contrasted with government vs. opposition systems in which ruling coalitions rotate among various social groups over time.
