When aluminium is exposed to the air, this overactive metal promptly reacts with the atmospheric oxygen to form aluminium oxide, which is a sticky natured compound of the same colour.
Thus, the aluminium protects itself from any corrosion by the formation of a layer of aluminium oxide over the entire metal surface and thus, aluminium is termed as a self-protecting metal.

Let a is the first term of AP and d is the common difference
pth term = a + (p-1) d = q .................(1)
qth term = a + (q-1) d = p .................(2)
By subtracting eqn(2) from eqn(1), we get d = -1
if we subsititue d = -1 in eqn.(1), we get a = p+q-1
nth term = a+(n-1)d = (p+q-1) + (n-1)(-1) = p+q-n
(p+q)th term = a+(p+q-1)d = (p+q-1)+(p+q-1)(-1) = 0

To,
The Editor,
Delhi Times,
Respected Sir,
Hope that you are fine. With this letter, I would like to bring the attention of all to the water crisis that is hitting India and Delhi in specific. Over the period of time, the water table is coming down and we need to take action to save water.
Water plays a vital role in our daily lives and we use it for a wide variety of purposes. Water plays a big role in supporting our communities. Without water there would be no local business or industry or not even existence of human life.
It is extremely important that we save water. As a water saviour I took the initiative of installing automated faucets in my house. I am also promoting it in my family and community as it can save 60% of household water.
I hope you will communicate this concern via your newspaper.
Regards,
Kartik / kavya

The division of power between the Central and State Governments is done in a three fold distribution of legislative powers between the Union Government and the State Government. There are three lists i.e. Union List, State List and Conturrent List.
(i) Union List It includes subjects of national importance, e.g. defence of the country, foreign affairs, banking, communication and currency. The Central Government alone can make decisions on these matters. The aim of including these matters in Union List is to ensure uniformity in the policy of these areas throughout the country.
(ii) State List It contains subjects of state and local importance such as police, trade, commerce, agriculture and irrigation. The State Government alone can make laws and decisions on these areas.
(iii) Concurrent List It includes those subjects which are of common interest to both the Central as well as State Governments. It includes matters like education, forests, marriage and trade unions. Both the State and Central Government can make decision on these matters.
