Carbon dioxide is essential for internal respiration in a human body. Internal respiration is a process, by which oxygen is transported to body tissues and carbon dioxide is carried away from them. Carbon dioxide is a guardian of the pH of the blood, which is essential for survival. The cells in our bodies need oxygen to stay alive. Carbon dioxide is made in our bodies as cells do their jobs. The lungs and respiratory system allow oxygen in the air to be taken into the body, while also letting the body get rid of carbon dioxide in the air breathed out. A low CO2 level can be a sign of several conditions, including: Kidney disease. Diabetic ketoacidosis, which happens when your body's blood acid level goes up because it doesn't have enough insulin to digest sugars. Metabolic acidosis, which means your body makes too much acid.

A ray of light passing through the centre of curvature of a concave mirror is reflected back along the same path because it strikes the concave mirror at right angles to its surface due to which the angle of incidence and angle of reflection both are oo. The reason why light falling on the center of curvature gets reflected back along the same path is because the angle of incidence and the angle of reflection are along the normal for a concave mirror.

If you cover the leaves of the healthy plant with vaseline, it will block its stomata and therefore it will not remain healthy for a long time. This is because the plant will not get oxygen for respiration. it will not get carbon dioxide for photosynthesis.
Covering the leaves with Vaseline will close the stomatal opening present on leaf epidermis. Stomata help in gaseous exchange and water evaporation or loss from the leaf surface. Hence two major process of plant survival will be affected, which are:-
-- Transpiration ( loss of water from leaf surface )
-- Photosynthesis / Respiration.
Applying Vaseline, in the real-life experiment, it will reduce water loss from the upper surface to moderate and from the lower surface to a minimum ( more stomata is present on lower surface). Gradually the plant will seize its metabolic activity resulting in plant death.
