This sense of collective belonging came partly through the experience of united struggles. History and fiction, folklore and songs popular prints and symbols all played a part in the making of nationalism.

Grafting:

Grafting is a horticultural technique used to join parts from two or more plants so that they appear to grow as a single plant. In grafting, the upper part (scion) of one plant grows on the root system (rootstock) of another plant.

In grafting, one plant is selected for its roots, and this is called the stock or rootstock. The other plant is selected for its stems, leaves, flowers, or fruits and is called the scion. The scion contains the desired genes to be duplicated in future production by the stock/scion plant. For successful grafting to take place, the vascular cambium tissues of the stock and scion plants must be placed in contact with each other. Both tissues must be kept alive until the graft has taken, usually a period of a few weeks. Successful grafting requires that a vascular connection takes place between the two tissues.

Grafting is most commonly used for the propagation of trees and shrubs grown commercially. Grafting is limited to dicots and gymnosperms.

A tiger is healthier suited to living within the forest instead of living within the claustrophobic atmosphere in an iron bars. Within the jungle, the tiger, the wild animal, will stray freely and expresses his power. Within the forest, he will hunt once he needs food. It will approach human habitation, however won't do any hurt to them. On the opposite hand, in the zoo, the house is simply too short for a tiger to stray. His movement is restricted and created him an unfortunate within the cage of the installation. Here, the tiger lives an unnatural and sad life and become helpless.

The poet says that the tiger should be in the jungle. It is his natural habitat. In the jungle, he moves in the long grass near a water hole. He hides in shadow to hunt the deer for his food.

1. The tiger is slowly and quietly moving along the length of the cage in a threatening manner. He is ignoring the visitors because he considers them devoid of any feelings. None of them thinks of releasing him from his prison. Thus, he stops taking any notice of them.

2. The tiger ignores the visitors because he considers them devoid of feelings as none of them tries to help him out of the prison.

In the process of respiration, the first step is the breakdown of glucose, a 6-carbonmolecule breaks into 2 molecules of 3-carbon molecule called pyruvate. This process takes place in the cytoplasm. The subsequent breakdown pathway depends on the absence or presence of oxygen as follows
(i) Aerobic respiration it takes place in the mitochondria in the presence of oxygen. Pyruvic acid is converted into carbon dioxide, and water thus releasing a lot of energy.
(ii) Anaerobic respiration It takes place in the cytoplasm in the absence of oxygen. Pyruvic acid is converted either into CO2 and ethanol (in case of microbes, i.e., fermentation in yeast) or into lactic acid (in the case of muscle cells during sudden activity in humans.)
