let a = first term and d=common difference.
According to question,
7a7 = 11 a11
=>7(a+6d) = 11(a+10d)
=> 7a-11a = 110d-42d
=> -4a = 68d
=>a = -17d ......(1)
Now , a18 = a +17d
but a = -17 d ..by (1)
so put this value , we get,
a18=-17d +17d =0
Hence proved.

Modal verbs are verbs such as can, may, must, need not, shall/should/ought to. They indicate ability, permission, etc.
Example: Vijay is 15 years old and wants to become a mechanic. He is going to take over his father’s garage, so he need not worry about his future. Vijay’s father tells him every day that he must do what he is told and must not touch any dangerous equipment. Vijay can already change tyres, but he has to learn a lot more about cars. He should work in the garage more often if he wants to be a good mechanic.

The first clear expression of nationalism came with the French Revolution in 1789.
- The Revolution led to the transfer of sovereignty from the monarchy to a body of French citizens. The revolution proclaimed that it was the people who would hence forth constitute the nation and shape its destiny.
- From the very beginning, the French revolutionaries introduced various measures and practices that could create a sense of collective identity amongst the French people.
- The ideas of la patrie (the fatherland) and le citoyen (the citizen) emphasised the notion of a united community enjoying equal rights under a constitution. A new French flag, the tricolour, was chosen to replace the former royal standard.
- The Estates General was elected by the body of active citizens and renamed the National Assembly. New hymns were composed, oaths taken and martyrs commemorated,all in the name of the nation.
- Regional dialects were discouraged and French, as it was spoken and written in Paris, became the common language of the nation.
- The revolutionaries further declared that it was the mission and the destiny of the French nation to liberate the peoples of Europe from despotism, in other words to help other peoples of Europe to become nations.

OHM’s law states that under no same temperature, electric current flowing through an ideal conductor is directly proportional to the potential difference across its ends.
V ∝ I
V = IR, R – Resistance
- Resistance is a property of conductor to resist flow of charge through it. Its SI unit is Ohm (Ω).
R = V/I, 1 Ohm = 1 Volt/ 1 Ampere

The emission of free electrons from a metal surface when the light is shone on it, it is called the photoemission or the photoelectric effect. This effect led to the conclusion that light is made up of packets or quantum of energy. Now the question was whether the light quantum theory was indicative of the particle nature of light. Einstein already associated the light quantum with momentum. This strongly supported the particle nature of light and these particles were named photons. Thus, the wave-particle duality of light came into the picture.
