In India there is a multi-party political system. Most characteristic feature of Indian democracy is that it has a multi-party system. It is a system in which many parties across the country run for national election to compete with each other to win political power. Some other examples of countries having multiple political parties are Denmark, Germany, Italy, South Africa, Spain etc.

The removal of hydrogen and addition of oxygen in known as oxidation ..and the substance which oxidise the hydrogen is known as oxidising agent

Meghna Thapar 5 years, 7 months ago

Oxidation is any chemical reaction that involves the moving of electrons. Specifically, it means the substance that gives away electrons is oxidized. Normally, this is a reaction between oxygen and a substance such as iron.

When iron reacts with oxygen it forms a chemical called rust because it has been oxidized (the iron has lost some electrons) and the oxygen has been reduced (the oxygen has gained some electrons).

Oxidation is the loss of electrons.

In terms of oxygen transfer, oxidation may be defined as the chemical process in which a substance gains oxygen or loses electrons and hydrogen.

Meghna Thapar 5 years, 7 months ago

Mandela realized in his youth that it was not just his freedom that was being curtailed, but the freedom of all blacks. The hunger for his own freedom gradually turned into hunger for the freedom of his people. This desire of a non-racial society transformed him into a virtuous and self-sacrificing man. Thus, he joined the African National Congress and this changed the fearful man to a fearless rebel. He sacrificed the comforts of a settled family life to fight for a greater cause. When Nelson Mandela realized that his boyhood freedom was an illusion and when he discovered that as a young man his freedom had already been taken away from him.He slowly began to hunger for it.

Calcination - It is the process of converting an ore into its oxide by heating strongly, below its melting point either in a limited supply or in absence of air. This method is commonly used for converting carbonates and hydroxides to their respective oxides. During calcination, moisture and volatile impurities are also removed.
For example: Calcium carbonate is converted into calcium oxide by calcination.

Anupama ?? 5 years, 7 months ago

The IUPAC defines calcination as "heating to high temperatures in air or oxygen". However, calcination is also used to mean a thermal treatment process in the absence or limited supply of air or oxygen applied to ores and other solid materials to bring about a thermal decomposition.
