I would say that if you have time and you can study on daily basis then S Chand is perfect bcoz it has well explained theory and really good questions And if you don't study on daily basis and study one day before exam then s chand won't work ...then you can easily read NCERT because s chand has long chapters but are very useful I also study from S Chand and also after completion i have a look on NCERT too . "# For science "# See if you have studied ncert very well then you can study from a reference book for better practice .. Lakhmir Singh and Manjit Kaur is a very good book for explaination and has a detailed information of all topics and an ample of questions.. Xam idea is also a good choice as it has all imp. Questions and also contains Ncert exemplar imp. Questions.. Oswal question bank is too a good choice..it also contains ample of questions So, if u want for explanation then lakhmir singh and manjit kaur u can take And for extra practice xam idea or oswal. But my first advice is that you study ncert very carefully and then solve the reference book. Hope it helps.
