A two-party system is a system where two major political parties dominate politics within a government. One of the two parties typically holds a majority in the legislature and is usually referred to as the majority party while the other is the minority party.
Advantages of two party System :
- It is easier to obtain clear majority.
- It provides for a strong opposition to keep a check on the government.
- Disadvantages of a Bi party system:
- There is not enough choice for the voters.

The quantitative expression for the effect of these three variables on electric force is known as Coulomb's law. Coulomb's law states that the electrical force between two charged objects is directly proportional to the product of the quantity of charge on the objects and inversely proportional to the square of the separation distance between the two objects.
where Q1 represents the quantity of charge on object 1 (in Coulombs), Q2 represents the quantity of charge on object 2 (in Coulombs), and d represents the distance of separation between the two objects (in meters). The symbol k is a proportionality constant known as the Coulomb's law constant. The value of this constant is dependent upon the medium that the charged objects are immersed in. In the case of air, the value is approximately 9.0 x 109 N • m2 / C2. If the charged objects are present in water, the value of k can be reduced by as much as a factor of 80. It is worthwhile to point out that the units on k are such that when substituted into the equation the units on charge (Coulombs) and the units on distance (meters) will be canceled, leaving a Newton as the unit of force.

The problem in unifying people were-
1. HINDU MAHASABHA - during the end of 19th century, the Congress was more devoted to Hindu Maha Sabha , that the people of other communities resented.
2.WEDGE- there was a huge wedge between the Hindus and the Muslims which deepened every time when communal clashes took place.
3.SEPERATE ELECTORATE- Muslims demanded a separate electorate for themselves but were disregarded. Therefore during the time of national struggle call, they alienated themselves.
3.MINORITY- the Muslims were in minority, and were very insecure
4.TWO NATION THEORY- the Muslims thought that the Hindus and the Muslims belonged to different nations.

The political conditions of Europe as follows :
(i) The first half of the nineteenth century saw an enormous increase in population all over Europe.
(ii) In most countries, there were more job seekers than employment. Population from rural areas migrated to the cities to live in overcrowded slums.
(iii) Small producers in towns were often faced with stiff competition from imports of cheap machine made goods from England, where industrialisation was more advanced than on the continent.
(iv) In these regions of Europe where the aristocracy still enjoyed power, peasants struggled under the burden of feudal dues and obligations.
(v) The rise of food prices or a year of bad harvest led to widespread pauperism in town and country.
