The given progression 9, 15, 21, 27,…………

Clearly, 15 – 9 = 21 – 15 = 27 – 21 = 6 (Constant)

Thus, each term differs from its preceding term by 6. So, the given progression is an AP.

First term = 9

Common difference =6

Next term of the AP = 27 + 6 = 33

Democracy produces an accountable government: Democracy produces an accountable governments, as the people have the right in choosing their representatives through the electoral process. These elected representatives form the government and participate in the decision-making process on behalf of the people. If these elected representatives do not work properly, people have a chance to not elect them in the next election.

Mendel choose pea plant for studying inheritance because they are self pollinating and because many generations of pea plant can be produced in a comparatively short time span and their study is much simpler than that of animals.

Kritika Pathak 5 years, 3 months ago

Mendel's choose pea plant because it has generations more than other plants or humans and it has characteristics. Just suppose, when he research on humans he only saw his two or three generations so he don't research on his work. Then he thought pea plant is correct .

Political leaders differed sharply over the question of separate electorates because of differences in opinion. While those supporting the cause of minorities and the dalits believed that only political empowerment would resolve their social backwardness, others like Gandhiji thought that separate electorates would further slow down the process of their integration into society. Also, it was feared that the system of separate electorates would gradually divide the country into numerous fragments because every community or class would then ask for separate representations.

p = a²b³

q = a³b

HCF ( p,q ) = a²b

 [ ∵Product of the smallest power of each

      common prime factors in the numbers ]

LCM ( p , q ) = a³b³

[ ∵ Product of the greatest power of each

   prime factors , in the numbers ]

Now ,

HCF ( p , q ) × LCM ( p , q ) = a²b × a³b³

                                             = a∧5b∧4 --------( 1 )

[∵ a∧m × b∧n = a∧m+n ]

pq = a²b³ × a³b

     = a∧5 b∧4 ---------------( 2 )

from ( 1 ) and ( 2 ) , we conclude

HCF ( p , q ) × LCM ( p ,q ) = pq

As u will solve it will come, 35(x+4-x/x(x+4)=1 then 35(4/x2+4x)=1 then 35 will be multiplied to 4 it come 140/x2+4x =1 then 140=x2+4x as it will multiplied by 1 and the quadratic equation come as : x2+4x-140=0. Now solve it by middle term split or the formula given in the book

Pushkar Kharb 5 years, 3 months ago

U have to write the equation: 35/x - 35/x+4 = 1. Then take 35 common from it and it will left 35 (1/x - 1/x+4)=1, now take the LCM in bracket and then it will come a quadratic equation.

In a federal form of government, the central government shares its powers with the various constituent units of the country. For example, in India, power is divided between the government at the Centre and the various State governments.
In a unitary form of government, all the power is exercised by only one government. For example, in Sri Lanka, the national government has all the powers.

Incorrect DNA copying or DNA replication during cell division can severly affect the reproduction process. Hence DNA is responsible for every activity from dna copying to protein formation. If protein failed to fold due to mutation then several neurodegenrative disease can occur. Incorrect DNA copying can lead to variations. In this proteins formed are different from the parent and this results in the change in characters in the offspring. This is only due to these variations that evolution occurs.

A granum (plural grana) is a stack of thylakoid discs. Chloroplasts can have from 10 to 100 grana. Grana are connected by stroma thylakoids, also called intergranal thylakoids or lamellae. Grana thylakoids and stroma thylakoids can be distinguished by their different protein composition. Primary purpose of grana is not to allow regulation of light harvesting A second, and related, hypothesis for the function of grana is that they allow regulation of light harvesting and, particularly, control of the balance of energy flow between Photosystem II and Photosystem I.

Most flowers have four main parts: sepals, petals, stamens, and carpels. Sepals: These are the small, leaf-like parts growing at the base of the petals. They form the outermost whorl of the flower. Collectively, sepals are known as the calyx. The main function of the calyx and its sepals is to protect the flower before it blossoms(in the bud stage). Petals: This layer lies just above the sepal layer. They are often bright in colour as their main function is to attract pollinators such as insects, butterflies etc to the flower. The petals are collectively known as the corolla. Stamens: These are the male parts of a flower. Many stamens are collectively known as the androecium.        They are structurally divided into two parts: Filament: the part that is long and slender and attached the anther to the flower. Anthers: It is the head of the stamen and is responsible for producing the pollen which is transferred to the pistil or female parts of the same or another flower to bring about fertilization. Pistil: This forms the female parts of a flower. A collection of pistils is called the gynoecium. Style -is a long slender stalk that holds the stigma. Once the pollen reaches the stigma, the style starts to become hollow and forms a tube called the pollen tube which takes the pollen to the ovaries to enable fertilization. Stigma– This is found at the tip of the style. It forms the head of the pistil. The stigma contains a sticky substance whose job is to catch pollen grains from different pollinators or those dispersed through the wind. They are responsible to begin the process of fertilization. Ovary – They form the base of the pistil. The ovary holds the ovules. Ovules– These are the egg cells of a flower. They are contained in the ovary. In the event of a favorable pollination where a compatible pollen reaches the stigma and eventually reaches the ovary to fuse with the ovules, this fertilized product forms the fruit and the ovules become the seeds of the fruit

Scattering of light by dust particles or any other particles is called Tyndall effect In forests when sunlight fallon canopy of trees and falls on the ground then we r able to see dust particles in the path of sunlight

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 3 months ago

The scattering of light by particles in its path is called Tyndall effect. When a beam of light enters a smoke-filled dark room through a small hole, then its path becomes visible to us. The tiny dust particles present in the air of room scatter the beam of light all around the room. Thus, scattering of light makes the particles visible. Tyndall effect can also be observed when sunlight passes through a canopy of a dense forest. Here, tiny water droplets in the mist scatter light.

Tyndall effect is scattering of a beam of light by a medium containing small scattering of a beam of light by a medium containing small suspended particles—e.g., smoke or dust in a room, which makes visible a light beam entering a window.
