The copying of DNA during reproduction is important because:
- The replication of DNA ensures that each daughter cell formed at the end of cell division, receives equal amount of DNA.
- If DNA won't be copied then the daughter cells won't receive all necessary genes.
- There may be absence of important proteins which are encoded by DNA, if DNA won't be replicated.
- Copying of DNA may result in recombination which will lead to evolution.
- Transfer of genetic material from one generation to other makes the organisms to have similar functions.
- Stability of population is maintained.

Given that triangle ABC and ΔPQR in which AD and PM are medians drawn on sides BC and QR respectively.
It is given that AB/PQ = AC/PR = AD/PM
We have to prove that ΔABC ~ ΔPQR
Construction: Produce AD to E such that AD = DE and PM to F such that PM = MF
From the figure,
In ΔABD and ΔCDE,
AD = DE [by construction]
∠ADB = ∠CDE [vertically opposite angles]
BD = DC [Since AD is a median]
So, by SAS congruent condition
ΔABC ≅ ΔPQR
AB = CE [by CPCT]
Similarly, we can prove
ΔPQM ≅ ΔRMF
PQ = RF [by CPCT]
Now, given that
AB/PQ = AC/PR = AD/PM
CE/RF = AC/PR = 2AD/2PM
CE/RF = AC/PR = AE/PF [Since AE = AD + DE and AD = DE, Same for PF]
By using SSS Congruent condition
ΔACE ≅ ΔPRF
=> ∠1 = ∠2 ......1
Similarly, ∠3 = ∠4 ......2
Adding equations 1 and 2, we get
∠1 + ∠3 = ∠2 + ∠4
=> ∠A = ∠P
Now, in ΔABC and ΔPQR
AB/PQ = AC/PR
and ∠A = ∠P
By SAS similar condtion,
ΔABC ~ ΔPQR

For Mandela courage does not mean the absence of fear but a victory over fear. According to him brave men need not be fearless but should be able to conquer fear. Courage was the result of decades of oppression and brutality. Courage, Mandela concludes, is the risk undertaken by men and women who gave their lives for an idea. It is being able to withstand without being shattered, by reflecting strength and resilience. Mandela understood that courage was not the absence of fear but the triumph over it. Being courageous also means being able to conquer the fear.
