Vegetative propagation is potentially something very unique to plants. The very same attribute is also used for the commercial value and by ardent gardeners who know their plants well. Seeds are not always essential for plants to grow. Vegetative propagation such as grafting and budding, etc. help in growing new plants from vegetative parts of the older plants. It is an asexual method of reproduction. In vegetative reproduction, morphologically and the genetically identical offspring is produced.

Advantages Of Vegetative Propagation

 • Vegetative reproduction has several benefits, primarily because the developed offspring represent copies of their parent plants. If a plant has positive features, the genetic information can be passed on to its offspring.
 • Commercial growers may profit by cloning such plants in order to ensure their crops remain compatible financially.
 • Vegetational propagation often helps plants in the development of *** organs such as flowers and eventual seeds and fruit to avoid costly and complicated processes. In other terms, as farmers grow the ideal characteristics in apples, they use grafting and birth to ensure that the new variety and its productive production are compatible at the trade level. This does not always occur though, as can be seen in many different plants since many plants are a chimera and the cuttings will represent the characteristics of only one or some of the cellular parent lines. Plants can also skip the intermediate process of seedling and enter the mature stage more rapidly.
 • It increases the chances of a plant reaching maturity effectively in nature and saves growers a great deal of time and money on a commercial basis as it permits a quicker overturn.
 • Vegetative reproduction offers scientific opportunities in several biological fields and is realistic in the context of afforestation. The most frequent use of forest geneticists and tree breeders in vegetative propagation has been to move genes from selected trees to a convenient location, typically a gene bank, a clone bench, a cloning orchard or seed garden where genes can be recombined with pedigrees.

 • Budding is the asexual mode of reproduction. In budding, a genetically identical new organism grows attached to the body of parent Hydra and separates later on.
 • In the process of budding, a bud develops as an outgrowth due to repeated cell division at one specific site. This bud grows randomly and there is no specific order or direction they follow.

The heart receives deoxygenated blood from different parts of the body, and it pumps this blood to the lungs. The oxygenated blood from the lungs returns to the heart, which is pumped again into different parts of the body by the heart. Thus, the blood passes twice through the heart making one complete round through the body. This is called double circulation.

Pulmonary and systemic circulation

The pulmonary circulation pertains to lungs. The blood flows from the right ventricle to the lungs. Pulmonary veins collect oxygenated blood from the lungs and carry it back to the heart (left auricle).

The systemic circulation pertains to the major circulation of the body. The aorta receives the blood from the left ventricle and sends it to the various parts of the body. Veins collect the deoxygenated blood from the body parts and pour it back into the right auricle.

Akshita ???? 5 years, 2 months ago

A type of blood circulation system in which the blood flows through the heart twice. In this type of circulation, the pulmonary circulation is separate from the systemic circulation. Supplement In this circulation, the heart consists of: the right side that pumps deoxygenated blood into the pulmonary section and the left side that pumps oxygenated blood into the systemic circulation. This is common among mammals and birds. This is in contrast to animals that have only one circulation system such as fish.

The sectors of the Indian economy are: (i) Primary sector: When a good is produced by exploiting natural resources, it is an activity of the primary sector. (ii) Secondary sector: The secondary sector covers activities in which natural products are changed into other forms through ways of manufacturing that are associated with industrial activity. (iii) Tertiary sector: This sector helps in the development of the primary and secondary sectors. This is also called 'Service sector' as it also includes some essential services that may not directly help in the production of goods. PRIMARY SECTOR - DEFINITION When a good is produced by exploiting natural resources, it is an activity of the primary sector. It forms the base for all other products that are subsequently made. Since most of the natural products we get are from agriculture, dairy, fishing, forestry, this sector is also called agriculture and related sector. SECONDARY SECTOR - DEFINITION The secondary sector covers activities in which natural products are changed into other forms throughways of manufacturing that we associate with industrial activity. It is the next step after primary. The product is not produced by nature but has to be made and therefore some process of manufacturing is essential. STATIC AND DYNAMIC ECONOMY - DEFINITION In economics, the word 'static' refers to a situation which witnesses absolutely no changes. Static economy is a timeless economy where there are no changes at all. The fundamental factors of the economy like the size of population, availability of capital, methods of production, nature of organisation and people's wants remain static without any alteration. During British rule, the Indian economy was a static economy. The word 'dynamic' refers to drastic changes or continuous change. Dynamic economics is the study of the variations that take place in an economy. It analyses the process of change that takes place from time to time in an economy. In a dynamic economy, the size of the population, availability of capital, methods of production, nature of organisation and people's wants keep on changing continuously. After Independence, the Indian economy has got transformed into a dynamic economy. TERTIARY SECTOR - DEFINITION The tertiary sector helps in the development of the primary and secondary sectors. This sector does not produce a good but they are an aid or a support for the production process. Since this sector generates services rather than goods, the tertiary sector is also called the service sector.

ADVERTISEMENTS:

The placenta is an organ that links the budding fetus to the uterine wall to facilitate the uptake of nutrients, gas exchange and waste elimination, with the help of the mother's blood supply. The umbilical cord connects the fetus to the placenta.

The placenta is a spongy mass of flesh that absorbs oxygen and nutrients from the blood stream of the mother, which are then transferred to the baby via the umbilical cord. The umbilical cord is responsible for carrying the oxygen and nutrients to the fetus.

The placenta is discarded after the baby's delivery, while a portion of the umbilical stump still remains on the baby, but soon withers away as well.

Sabari Krishna 5 years, 2 months ago

The SI unit of electric current is Ampere (A). When 1 coulomb (C) of charge flows through any cross-section of a conductor in 1 second (s) , then the electric current flowing through it is said to be 1 ampere (A). 1A = 1C/1s

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 2 months ago

The magnitude of electric current is measured in coulombs per second. The SI unit of electric current is Ampere and is denoted by the letter A. Ampere is defined as one coulomb of charge moving past a point in one second. If there are 6.241 x 1018 electrons flowing through our frame in one second then the electrical current flowing through it is ‘One Ampere.’

The unit Ampere is widely used within electrical and electronic technology along with the multipliers like milliamp (0.001A), microamp (0.000001A), and so forth.

Advantages of non-verbal communication:

Complementary: Non-verbal cues complement a verbal message by adding to its meaning. You can pat someone you offended at the back as you say sorry to him or her.

Easy presentation: Information can be easily presented in non-verbal communication through using visual, audio-visual and silent means of non-verbal communication.

Substituting: Non-verbal message may substitute for the verbal message especially if it is blocked by noise, interruption, long distance etc. for example; gestures-finger to lips to indicate need for quite, facial expressions- a nod instead of a yes.

Accenting: Often used to accent a verbal message. Verbal tone indicates the actual meaning of the specific words.

Repeat: Used to repeat the verbal message (e.g. point in a direction while stating directions.)

Disadvantages or limitations of non-verbal communication:

Despite of advantages of non-verbal communication, it is not free from its limitations or disadvantages which are:

Vague and imprecise: Non-verbal communication is quite vague and imprecise. Since in this communication, there is no use of words or language which expresses clear meaning to the receiver. No dictionary can accurately classify them. Their meaning varies not only by culture and context but by the degree of intention.

Continuous: It is possible to stop talking in verbal communication, but it is generally not possible to stop nonverbal cues. Also, spoken language has a structure that makes it easier to tell when a subject has changed, for instance, or to analyze its grammar. Nonverbal does not lend itself to this kind of analysis.

Multi-channel: while watching someone’s eyes, you may miss something significant in a hand gesture. Everything is happening at once and therefore it may be confusing to try to keep up with everything. Most of us simply do not do so, at least not consciously.

Advantages of Verbal Communication
Following are the advantages of Verbal Communication:

 • It saves time in communication.
 • It is quick in obtaining feedback once delivered.
 • It provides complete understanding of communication delivered and there is chance to make it more clear in case of doubts in interpretation of words or ideas.
 • It is more reliable method of communication.
 • It is flexible and effective for all.
 • It is powerful means of persuation and control.
 • It is cheaper way of communication and hence saves money.

Disadvantages of Verbal Communication
Following are the disadvantages of Verbal Communication:

 • Emotions are visible and hence leads to trouble in certain cases.
 • It has no legal validity and hence will lead to problems in certain situations.
 • It does not provide permanent record unless it is recorded with modern means of storage.
 • It has issues when communicating with distant people.
 • It is difficult for certain people to understand speech due to various speech tones used in verbal communication.
 • This form of communication is not suitable for lengthy message.

India is a large and diverse country. It is very difficult to control by two tiers of government. Decentralisation is taken away of powers of central govt and state govt and given to local Govt. So by this Decentralisation they can control people. People in local areas have more problems. They know how to find solutions for problems. For this people will take decisions together. This is the important principle of democracy. So Decentralisation will give more importance for democracy.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 2 months ago

“Decentralisation” is a major step to modify the concept of democracy and federalism. It is very significant for all practical aspects.
(i) It helps in the settlement of a large number of problems and issues at the local level.
(ii) It provides a platform for the direct participation of people in decision making. Hence, inculcates a habit of “democratic participation.”
(iii) In another way decentralisation in the form of “local self government” is the best way to realise principles of Democracy, i.e., “Democracy at the grassroots level.”
(iv) Thus, decentralisation is rationale for the federal concept.

My thoughts got interrupted by a voice calling my name. this time it came from above my head. i looked up in fear. i saw a small creature crawling across the ceiling, staring at me. i stared back. how was this possible? a lizard can't talk. then i realized, i just started to listen to animals' voices.
