After 1990, Indian politics saw a rise of regional political parties in many states. It was also the beginning of the era of Coalition Government at the Centre. A Coalition Government is a Cabinet of a Parliamentary Government in which several political parties cooperate. The usual reason given for this arrangement is that no party on its own can achieve a majority in the Parliament.
A Coalition Government might also be created in a time of national difficulty or crisis,
e.g. during war time or economic crisis. In such times, parties can form an all party coalition.
Impact of coalition Government on Indian politics can be understood from the instances below
(i) After the General Election in 2009, the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) (consisting of 13 separate parties) formed the government. Indian National Congress (INC) had to enter an alliance with many parties, including several regional parties to form a government at the Centre. This led to a new culture of power sharing and respect for the autonomy of State Governments.
(ii) In 2014 General Election, Bharatiya Janata Party won 282 seats and formed the government. It is for the first time since 1984 Indian general elections that a party has won enough seats to govern without the support of other parties. Though Bharatiya Janata Party formed the government, but no Central Government can ignore the federal structure of India.

Formal sector
reasons:
FORMAL sector loan include banks and cooperatives whereas, the informal lenders includes money lenders, traders, employees, relatives and friends.
- The Reserve Bank of India supervises the functioning of formal sources loans but there is no organisation which supervises the credit activities of lenders in the informal sector.
- Compared to the formal lenders, most of the informal lenders charge much higher interest on loans.
- Formal sources of loan are less risky. They do not use unfair means to get their money back whereas, informal lenders use different crucial methods to get their money back.
- Banks require documentation and collateral whereas, the loans from informal sources do not require any such collateral.

The poet says that the boy has to learn that in this materialistic world, many of his belongings will be lost. He personifies the ball as his belongings, be it the worldly things or the relationships he is in possession of. So, he says that he has to learn to live without them no matter what. He says no one can buy back such things for him. The poet said so because according to him money can’t buy you everything. If it does buy you some materialistic thing, still, it will not be able to buy the sense of belongingness. He says that the boy is learning how to stand up against the sense of lost things. This means that the boy is trying to learn the real truth of life which states that you have to accept the miseries of life and stand up again. This is the truth which everyone has to learn in his or her life. The harsh truth of standing up against the odd miseries of life that everyone has to bear.

The poet says "I will not intrude on him" because the boy, for the first time in his life, experiences the grief of losing a much loved possession-his ball. He does not want to disturb the boy as he wants him to feel what it is like to lose something. The poet wants him to be able to cope with his loss.
He does not offer him 'money' to buy another ball because he wants the boy to understand that money cannot buy everything. He wants him be responsible enough to let go off things and move on in life. Once something is lost, it may never be restored. This realisation will help him have a mature outlook towards life.

In ‘The Ball Poem’ John Berryman gives a very positive message. Gain and loss, getting and losing are the essentials in the cycle of life. One should learn epistemology or the knowledge and nature of the loss. Our childhood with all its attachments and sweet memories has gone forever never to come back again. We should not weep over the losses that we have suffered. Let us learn to live and moving ahead in life forgetting all inconsolable losses.

The poet saw the boy playing with his ball. While he was playing with it, the ball bounced down the street ‘merrily’. And then the most unexpected thing happened. Rolling down the street and after taking a few bounces, finally, the ball fell down in the water of the harbour below.

Wanda sat in the seat next to the last seat of the last row in Room Thirteen. Her seat was in the corner of the room where the rough boys who did not get good marks sat. It was also the place where feets scuffled, roars of laughter could be heard, and where the floor was dirtiest in the classroom.

Aim: Same current flows through every part of the above circuit.
Procedure: Connect ammeters, ‘A’1 between B and C, and ‘A2’ between D and E. Adjust the sliding contact of the rheostat initially for a small current. Note all the ammeter readings. These reading give us current flowing through the resistors R1, R2 and R3 The current in the circuit is now increased by changing the position of sliding contact J’ of the rheostat. Note all the ammeter readings each time.
Conclusion: Same reading of all the ammeter in each observation concluded that same current flows through every part of the circuit.
Precautions: All the connection should be tight and properly connected as per circuit diagram. The positive terminal of the ammeter and voltmeter must be connected to the positive terminal of the battery or battery eliminator.

Money solves the problem of double coincidence of wants by acting as a medium of exchange. Double coincidence of wants implies a situation where two parties agree to sell and buy each other’s commodities., i.e., what one party desires to sell is exactly what the other party wishes to buy. Money does away with this tedious and complex situation by acting as a medium of exchange that can be used for one and all commodities. For example, if an ice-cream vendor wants a bicycle but the bicycle manufacturer wants clothes, and not ice-creams, then the vendor can use money to obtain a bicycle. He does need to adhere to the bicycle man’s needs because money acts as the common medium of exchange. Similarly, the bicycle manufacturer can then use the money to buy clothes.

The human heart is made up of four chambers. There are two superior atria and two inferior ventricles. The heart chamber that has the thickest muscle wall is the left ventricle. The left ventricle is responsible for pumping the blood around the heart and so it needs to have a strong muscle wall.
