All substances are made up of atoms, which have charged particles called electrons and protons. These charged particles have a negative and a positive charge respectively. Electricity in all forms is a result of this charge on the fundamental particles. Conduction of electricity is the movement of the charged particles in an organized manner resulting in a net movement of charge through the material. When charged particles move in an orderly fashion, we get an electric current.

Greenhouse gas concentrations and global temperatures will not increase indefinitely — today's carbon dioxide buildup and warming trend must eventually top out and then reverse as the atmosphere gradually recovers. The first stage of this process will occur when the rate at which we burn coal, oil, and natural gas levels off and then declines, either because we switch to alternative energy sources soon, or because we run out of affordable fossil fuels later. As a result, CO2 concentrations in the atmosphere will also eventually peak and then decline. This, in turn, will cause a series of linked environmental responses in which other currently rising trends reverse one by one in a "climate whiplash" phase that follows the lead of our carbon emissions. For example, as CO2 dissolves into the oceans, it combines with water to form carbonic acid, which alters the chemistry of seawater and makes limestone, chalk, and other carbonate-rich substances more likely to dissolve. Ocean acidification will peak shortly after atmospheric CO2 concentrations do, threatening marine species that have acid-soluble carbonate shells or skeletons, including corals, shellfish, and crustacean

Without trees, formerly forested areas would become drier and more prone to extreme droughts. When rain did come, flooding would be disastrous. Massive erosion would impact oceans, smothering coral reefs and other marine habitats.

Disguised unemployment is a kind of unemployment in which there are people who are visibly employed but are actually unemployed. This situation is also known as 'hidden unemployment'. In such a situation more people are engaged in a work than required. For example:
1. In rural areas, this type of unemployment is generally found in agricultural sector like - in a family of 9 people all are engaged in the same agricultural plot. But if 4 people are withdrawn from it there will be no reduction in output. So, these 4 people are actually facing disguised unemployment.
2. In urban areas, this type of unemployment can be seen mostly in service sectors such as in a family all members are engaged in one petty shop or a small business which can be managed by less number of persons.

The situation of underemployment is referred to the situation when people are apparently working but all of them are made to work less than their potential is called disguised unemployment. In this case, the person considers himself employed but is actually not working.

Example

(i) In rural areas, where agriculture is the main source of income, this kind of unemployment can be seen often. If a piece of land requires only three people to work on it and instead five people are working on it, then the two extra people are said to be in a situation of disguised unemployment.

(i) In cities and urban areas, disguised unemployment is seen when painters, plumbers, electricians are unable to find work on a daily basis and work way less than their potential.

Let a be an arbitrary positive integer. Then, by Euclid’s division algorithm, corresponding to the positive integers ‘a’ and 6, there exist non-negative integers and r such that a = 6 q + r, where, 0 < r < 6

Hence, the cube of a positive integer of the form 6q + r,q is an integer and r = 0,1,2, 3, 4,5 is also of the forms 6m, 6m + 1, 6m + 2, 6m + 3,6m + 4 and 6m + 5 i.e.,6m + r.

Disguised unemployment

The situation of underemployment or disguised unemployment is a situation where people are apparently working but all of them are made to work less than their potential is called disguised unemployment. In this situation, the person considers himself employed but is actually not working and utilising his skills in the job.

Disguised unemployment in rural areas

In rural areas, we know that agriculture is the main source of income, this kind of unemployment situation is quite common here. For instance, a piece of land requires only three people to work on it and rather, five people are working on it, then the two extra people are said to be in a situation of disguised unemployment. Not in the field of agriculture we can also see this in small scale industries set up in a village. The labours in these small scale industries are in short of work as more employees are appointed and others face the situation of disguised unemployment.

Disguised unemployment in Urban areas

In urban areas, disguised unemployment is very often. For instance painters, plumbers, electricians are unable to find work on a daily basis and work way less than their potential. A person who has the energy to work in a huge firm but he cannot showcase his skills and perform better as there are many workers and work is distributed among all so he feels that there is nothing much to do.

Metal + dilute acid > salt + water

Gaurav Seth 5 years, 1 month ago

When an acid is treated with a metal oxide, a salt and water are obtained.
The general reaction can be written as follows:

Acid + Metal oxide → Salt + Water

For example, when a small amount of copper oxide is added to sulphuric acid,  colour of the solution becomes blue and the copper oxide dissolves. The blue colour of the solution indicates the formation of copper (II) sulphate.

The reaction taking place can be written as follows:
CuO(s) +  H2SO4(aq) → CuSO4(aq) + H2O(l)

Sugar industry is a seasonal industry because of the seasonality of raw material. Sugarcane is harvested in a particular season only. Sugar mills are operative for a part of the year only during the crushing season.

Shakiya Siddiqui 5 years, 1 month ago

Sugarcane industry is seasonal in nature. It means that it employs people for only few months in a year. It is suited to co-operative sector as sometimes both the farmers and the owners of the sugarcane mill may work together with each other to benifit one another.

Amanda was coped up with her mother's nagging because amanda was that type of girl who always need independence but her mother was always scolding her that don't eat your nails, don't slouch your shoulders, don't eat chocolates and so much instructions were there which was given by her mother. Amanda was in her own dreams/imagination/world that she wants to be a mermaid who swift blissfully in the languid sea and also she wants to be rapunzel whose hair was long and just like rapunzel she was also kept in a palace/tower. So this were the reasons by which amanda was coped up by her mother's nagging.

Gaurav Seth 5 years, 1 month ago

Amanda dwelt in a huge world of imagination to dodge her mother’s nagging because it was getting too much for small girl like her. Every time she gets an instruction, she would just imagine for a freedom.

When she was scolded for chewing ip her nails, Amanda would long to become a mermaid and drift swiftly in a languid sea. She whished if she were an orphan roaming and making pattern bare feet in the street when her mother would ask her to tidy up her room and do the homework. She faces a rage for eating chocolates and she fascinate herself to be the Rapunzel living in a tall tower in her complete lonliness. All day long her mother fret over her casualness and ignorant behaviour. Opposite to this parents should deal their children delicately and allow them to imagine. After all imaginations only have led us to moon and where not. Amanda was positive girl but was confined.

Let us assume that √5 is a rational number.

Sp it t can be expressed in the form p/q where p,q are co-prime integers and q≠0
⇒√5=p/q

On squaring both the sides we get,
⇒5=p²/q²
⇒5q²=p² —————–(i)

p²/5= q²

So 5 divides p
p is a multiple of 5
⇒p=5m
⇒p²=25m² ————-(ii)
From equations (i) and (ii), we get,
5q²=25m²
⇒q²=5m²
⇒q² is a multiple of 5
⇒q is a multiple of 5
Hence, p,q have a common factor 5. This contradicts our assumption that they are co-primes. Therefore, p/q is not a rational number

√5 is an irrational number
