HRD Minister Ramesh Nishank announced a major CBSE syllabus reduction for the new academic year 2020-21 on July 7 which was soon followed by an official notification by CBSE on the same.
Considering the loss of classroom teaching time due to the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown, CBSE reduced the syllabus of classes 9 to 12 with the help of suggestions from NCERT.
The CBSE syllabus has been rationalized keeping intact the learning outcomes so that the core concepts of students can be retained.

Einstein is remembered as a “world citizen” because of his efforts towards world peace and democracy. He was concerned about the consequences of the atomic bomb. He even wrote a public missive to the United Nations and proposed the formation of a world government to control the use of nuclear weapons. This shows him as a world citizen who was concerned about humanity.

राजा शूरसेन की
यदुवंश के प्रसिद्ध राजा शूरसेन , जिनकी पृथा नामक एक पुत्री थी. शूरसेन के फुफेरे भाई कुंतीभोज की कोई सन्तान नहीं थी, इसलिए शूरसेन ने कुंतीभोज को वचन दिया कि उनकी पहली संतान को उन्हें गोद दे देंगे. फलस्वरूप पृथा शूरसेन की पहली पुत्री थी जिसे कुंतीभोज ने गोद लिया था.

Plough, Hoe & Cultivator are three important tools which help in soil preparation.
Plough
Tool used for ploughing . It is made of iron/ wood. It is pulled by a pair of animals like cows/ oxen/ horses and operated by the farmer through the handle. It has 3 important parts:
- Ploughshare: strong triangular iron strip
- Plough shaft: long log of wood
- Beam: stand placed on animals’ neck
Hoe
Hoe is a tool used for loosening soil. It is made of wood or iron. A strong iron plate attached to the long rod acts like a blade and helps to loosen the soil. It is also pulled by animals.
Cultivator
Cultivator is a tool used for ploughing. Manual as well as tractor driven cultivators are used. Tractor driven cultivators are fast, thus save time and also saves human labor.

The correlation coefficient is a statistical measure of the strength of the relationship between the relative movements of two variables. The values range between -1.0 and 1.0. A calculated number greater than 1.0 or less than -1.0 means that there was an error in the correlation measurement.

Communication between peoples occurs through text messages. Low quality Internet Connection can do the work of chatting whereas In Videoconferencing, communication occurs through Video and audio. A web service is any piece of software that makes itself available over the internet and uses a standardized XML messaging system. XML is used to encode all communications to a web service. For example, a client invokes a web service by sending an XML message, then waits for a corresponding XML response. As all communication is in XML, web services are not tied to any one operating system or programming language—Java can talk with Perl; Windows applications can talk with Unix applications.

Parsec is an astronomical unit of measurement which is commonly used in galactic or extra galactic scales.
It is defined as the distance of an astronomical object from the Sun which has a parallax of 1 arcsecond.
For example
The distance between the Sun and the star Proxima Centauri is around 1.29 Parsecs.
1 Parsec = 3.08567758 × 1016 meters

सूचना-लेखन की विधि
- सूचना लेखन में सबसे ऊपर विद्यालय या संस्था का नाम लिखा जाता है। इससे ज्ञात होता है कि सूचना किस कार्यालय द्वारा दी जा रही है; जैसे-
विद्या भारती सेकेंड्री स्कूल, ज्योति नगर, दिल्ली
खेल परिषद
- अगली पंक्ति में मोटे अक्षरों में लिखना चाहिए
सूचना
इसके बाद शीर्षक और उसके नीचे अगले एक अनुच्छेद में इस तरह लिखनी चाहिए –
हमारे विद्यालय की खेल परिषद दवारा आगामी सोमवार को प्रात: 9 बजे एक टायल कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया जा रहा है जिसके माध्यम से विभिन्न खेलों-क्रिकेट, टेबल-टेनिस, लंबी दौड़, फुटबॉल, वॉलीबाल, कबड्डी आदि की टीम बनाने हेतु संभावित खिलाड़ियों का चयन किया जाएगा। जो छात्र-छात्राएँ इसमें अपनी खेल प्रतिभा दिखाना चाहते हैं वे अधोहस्ताक्षरी के पास तीन दिनों के भीतर अपना नामांकन अवश्य करा दें।

इस तरह हमने देखा कि –
- सूचना की भाषा की अपनी अलग विशेषता होती है।
- इसे अन्य पुरुष में लिखा जाता है, जैसे सभी छात्रों को सूचित किया जाता है कि।
- सूचना लेखन में कम शब्दों के माध्यम से गागर में सागर भरने का प्रयास किया जाता है।
- शीर्षक बीच में दो-तीन शब्दों का होता है; जैसे
- रक्तदान शिविर का आयोजन
- कवि सम्मेलन का आयोजन
- दिल्ली दर्शन का कार्यक्रम
- अंत में बाएँ कोने में सूचना लेखक का नाम, पद आदि का उल्लेख होता है।
