Procedure to apply for a Duplicate pass certificate from CBSE?

This is a news of relief who has lost their credentials as the governing body of education has introduced simple process to obtain it again. A candidate can obtain a Duplicate pass certificate on payment of the prescribed fee and submission of an application on a prescribed form in the event of loss/theft/mutilation of the original certificate provided that an affidavit is filed to that effect before an official not below the rank of a first class Magistrate/Notary Public or a Member of the Governing Body of the Board.

Further the person requesting for duplicate or triplicate certificate would notify the loss/theft/mutilation of the certificate through a press note / advertisement in a leading newspaper and shall submit the press clipping to the Board alongwith application and the affidavit.

The application form can be downloaded from the Board website www.cbse.nic.in Forms.

 

Procedure to obtain Duplicate pass certificate

Log in to the official website to download the form.

Then you have to notify of your lost certificate.

Then you have to file an affidavit on Non-Judicial Stamp paper of INR 10.

Now fill the application form with the required details.

And after that submit it to the CBSE Regional Office.

After this process your duplicate certificate will be issued to you after 2 weeks from the date   of application.

You are required to collect your Duplicate pass certificate from the CBSE office.

 

How to apply for an Affidavit:

Your full name

Father’sname

Mother’s name

Certificate name – if an applicant is applying for duplicate certificate then he must write ”Duplicate Passing Certificate”

Roll number

Subjects

Name of the applicants school

Date of Birth (mentioned in cbse record)

Details of demand draft

Signature of applicant
