The admission in RPVV are open for class VI and IX in all RPVVs, Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya subject to availability of vacant seats in respective RPVVs. Information about the vacant seats in a particular RPVV and Medium of instruction can be obtained from respective RPVVs.
Eligibility and Documents to be submitted for registration for entrance test
All the students who have studied continuously for at least TWO years in Delhi Government/ Government Aided/MCD/NDMC/Delhi Cantonment Board schools situated in GNCT of Delhi preceding the class to which admission is sought with at least 60% marks in class V/ VIII are eligible for Registration for entrance test.
However, if the result is in form of Grades then the applicant will produce a certificate issued by the HOS of the school from where the student has passed class V/VIII certifying that the total percentage of marks was not less than 60% while converting marks to grades.
A student can get registered in one RPVV only as per his/her choice of RPVV where he/she wants admission. No request for change of RPVV shall be entertained in any case. Hence all the applicants are advised to get themselves registered at the RPVV of their choice for entrance test where they want to get admission.
A certificate and marksheet of class passed (class-IV and V for admission in class-VI and Class-VII and VIII for admission in class-IX) duly attested by the principal/head of the school from where the applicant has passed class V or VIII should be submitted at the time of registration.
The applicants are also advised to check their eligibility for registration beforehand.
ENTRANCE TEST
All candidates as registered will have to appear in an entrance test that will be administered on the same day and time for all the RPVVs and the selection will be done on the common merit of the applicant in the entrance exam. The entrance test will consist of objective type questions to test numerical ability, mental ability. General knowledge and language comprehension. The entrance rest will consist of objective type questions (100 Marks) to test numerical ability, mental ability, general knowledge and language comprehension (10 Marks each in Hindi & English).
MERIT
Selection will be on common merit of entrance test. The enrollment in one section of the class will not exceed 35. However in case the enrollment is less than 20, the section will not be started.
FEE
An amount of Rs.25/- against processing fee for the entrance test will be deposited by class –IX applicants. There is not fee for class VI applicants.
