Central Teacher Eligibility Test is mandatory exam to teacher in primary and secondary schools under the jurisdiction of central government and state governments who have opted CTET. Only the candidates who have passed the CTET exam, will be eligible to teach in classes V to VIII.

Past results indicates that CTET passing percentage very less. Out of 100 only 10 teachers could manage to pass it. So it is very important to practice the study material over and again to beat the heat.

It is strongly recommended to go through NCERT text books of classes 3-8 for better understanding of the concepts. IGNOU study material on B.Ed is also very helpful to practice the child development and pedagogy topics. Son books by NIOS on psychology (class-11 and 12) are also helpful.
