    plz cut it off

  3. I am a class IXth Teacher, I have visited d new CCE syllabus bt cud’nt find d syllabus for English. Could u plz guide?

  4. its not appreciating step taken. its going to sink the mind power of children. USA is already facing it and we are now ready to do the same. plz don’t play with the future of the young and talented minds of children. or if you are moving towards it then make sure that school provides other facilities like scientific research labs etc to cover up the fault.

  5. please don’t do this
this is much more traumatising compared to boards
due to the cce i’m getting 65% since i was engrossed in all powerpoint presentations
    Kapil Sibal….this is TRAUMATISING!!!

  6. Preparation of report card is confusing. More refinement is required for its proper meaningful implementationi

  7. The system i good, the good thing is that it has reduced the load of studies but due to all the orals everyday we have to learn and speak at least about 2 to 3 topics, its a burden. it should be a rule that only one activity per day should be given.

  8. this makes lots of burden on all of us students………
u r giving a lot of work, presentations, etc. but not giving us enough time.
    on this i remember a song…..
“Sari umr hum mar-mar ke jee liye
ek pal to ab hume jine do-jine do”
    please raham karo……..
                                             JUST STOP IT………….

  9. good system of education, but reduce the number of projects, assignmentsetc.i frequently sleep during class.give us more time to sleep.remember

early to bed and early to rise makes aman healthy, wealthy and wise

  10. hate CCE, it creates lots of burden on students, instead of removing burden
    “JUST STOP IT ”
    PLEASE………..PLEASE…………….PLEASE…………………PLEASE!!!!

  11. good system if reduced d presentation works, assingment…………..etc………
    my views on this is:
    don’t stop this………..
but reduce d burden on students……..
    please…………..

  12. this is simply yuck.. they are more and more burdening us..!!! i have a debate on this topic and i want to speak against the motion, can u plzz tell me where to find the matter?

  13. Progress card is really confusing. for understanding the progress cards the parents will have to attend a seminar, really ridiculous kapil. try to be objective and pin pointed results apprearing on progress cards. the grading system is very bad as one can not know or compare the performace on the basis of grade.

kapil, suppose u r having 2 sons both have got A+, now tell me who has got more and how?,

hahaha==== after exams and even after results and having progress card on ur hand Mr. Kapil ur not in a position to say who has earned more marks- really very very bad.

  14. Hi,I am in Class IX.I think this system is wonderful for students that study regularly. But at the same time, majority of students that study during exams(due to pressure)are not goanna be happy. They will be required to study regularly, that will create more pressure on them. The teachers will also be happy as they will have the power in their hands. So, one needs to make his good impression in the eyes of the teacher.
A student needs to be disciplined at all times in the class to achieve good grades.Overall, this system is good for laborious, sincere students. But naughty students have to suppress their natural activities and they will find hard to study everyday, remain disciplined in class, treat enough respect to teachers.

  15. its a lame process
    no real testing
    sounds like communist idea
bring in some norwegian and scandinavian education system
i heard they were the best educators in world

  16. i think its good, bcoz level of education is going down in our country. with this method students will try to understand the topic properly. now its all depend up[on the understanding for them.if student will understand only then he/she will get the good reward.

  17. WOW.LOOK AT THE RULES HERE AND LOOK THE RULES BEING IMPLEMENTED IN OUR SCHOOL.THEY SERIOUSLY DO NOT MATCH.THEY ARE TREATING US LIKE PRISONERS
    GOOD LUCK 🙂

  18. This is one of the most horrible and irritating system introduced in the teaching patterns. All round the year teachers keep pushing us to do activities which isn’t helping us to concentrate on studies and yelling for maintaining discipline in class in order to get good grades. They try to scarify us. This is no mean of solution for class X BOARDS. REALLY TERRIFYING!!!

  19. this is great for those students who r weak inn studies but r excellent in activities like drawing<making working models ,etc.

  20. my teachers are already very partial .they give more marks to the people whom they like.Once when i did a project which was a team work everyone told that ours is the best but my teacher gave more marks to the group which she love and known. Is this ademocratic country…….?

  21. Was it needed to do so? Parents are also put on task. So, like Shailja has commented, me too say:-

”Sari umr hum mar-mar ke jee liye
ek pal to ab hume jine do-jine do”

  22. a really burdensome system..the board exam was better than this stupid assessment..projects, assignments, presentations etc etc all the time.. a never ending process..thats y it is known as continuous and comprehensive evaluation:(

  23. After viewing the reaction of the students I do feel it is really confusing the student world.I feel we probebly misusing the technology and giving wrong direction to the futurers by overburdening their minds. Is it necessary to invent a machine or mechanism to to kill an ant?Aiming high complicated goals by loosing groud reality.

  24. definitely it is creating more trouble for chilldren as it is not being implemented properly & justly in schools .moeover it has been started in between & those students who are in 9 & 10 are the worst sufferere as all of a sudden they need to concentrate in all activities . i think it should hav been started in a phased manner ..rather starting all of a sudden..therby giving the children more time to get adjusted to this system….

  25. this system has only turned teachers into babus as the only thing they are doing is preparing results- either formative or summsative. the teaching process is getting ignored .as a result the students are having a field day and thus getting more and more indisciplined.can,t blame them though.Schools are not at all prepared/ equipped  to provide them with alternative activities.rather than blindly aping the west (who are now turning to the east) we should strike a balance between the syllabus and examinations.please wake up before its too late mr minister.

  28. Waste system which encourages blatant partiality from the teachers for the teachers pets. For years the tenth exams were where children could prove their actual potential because the papers were being corrected by anonymous teachers and so will reflect really what they have studied. All these years our education system has produced a workforce which is in demand all over the world. You cant argue woith success. Why should we copy the western countries? Why force children who have no interest in drawing etc to make assignments, projects etc…. I think some people in our country have no other work so they try to make problems for everybody.
My daughter still has to carry a donkeys load of books and on top of that she has to balance project works, models etc.. Somebody should make these policy makers stand in the bus with a whole load of books hanging from their back every morning and evening for a few months. Every body brains will start working in the right direction then..

  29. This system is just increasing the work load on us..

The teachers too don’t give importance to *actual learning*

    Studies are taken very casually..

  30. Yes the cce is a very effective for student nd teacher both but
firstly provide the teacher nd fulfill the ratio of student
    nd teacher…
Give some freedom to teacher in classrooms for better
    results…

  31. I think CCE is an excellent way of truly giving the student a chance to learn in an envigorating environment, do the best he/she can do in and be assessed in a continuous and varied manner. However, very few schools seem to have truly understood the concept of FA and SA. The “Unit Tests” have been replaced by “FA tests” even in lower classes and to add to that the new concept of projects and experiential learning seem to have got the schools confused. They have added this concept to the “FA Tests” and added to the burden. No wonder…. many on this site are complaining about CCE. FA is not another kind of Unit Test!! Until schools really use FA appropriately, it will put more pressure on students. How do we solve this??

  32. Kapil sir,
well what’s the need to play with this country’s future afterall you are too an indian because we not at-all given the marks even if we do so well in formative’s 40% weightage,
I AM A STAMMERER THAN THINK HOW MUCH AWFUL COMMENTS WE WOULD HAD TO FACE WHILE GIVE PRESENTATIONS
FROM OUR MATES AS WELL AS TEACHERS.
Please take some steps  for STAMMERERS like me,since this is not our fault,GIVEN BY GOD HIMSELF.
                                                        ThAkInG YoU SiR!
