i ) let x = 0.2323---( 1 )

Multiply equation ( 1 ) with 100, we get

100x = 23.2323-----( 2 )

Subtract ( 1 ) from ( 2 ) , we get

99x = 23

x = 23/99 ----( 3 )

ii ) Let y = 0.2222----( 4 )

Multiply equation ( 4 ) with 100,

100y = 22.2222-----( 5 )

Subtract ( 4 ) from ( 5 ) , we get

99y = 22

y = 22/99 ----( 6 )

Therefore ,

0.23bar + 0.22bar

= x + y

= 23/99 + 22/99

= ( 23 + 22 ) / 99

= 45/99
= 5/11

Childhood is the age of being fascinated and attracted by almost everything. One wants to buy everything one sees. At the fair the child was also attracted towards various things. There were shops and stalls selling innumerable things. Sweetmeat seller selling delicious sweets, flowers seller was selling fragrant flowers, balloon seller selling colorful balloons, and there were many rides and swings available, and many more attractions were available that attracted his attention.
As one grows old, one realizes one can’t afford all the things. Thus with the passage of time one learns to control one’s desires.

Even though democracy has been accepted as the best form of Government in this modern world. Yet it has its own problems. Some of these areas are stated below:

(i) Growing economic and social inequalities among the people: It is quite evident that all the citizens have the right to vote and fight elections but only rich people have a chance to win the election. The underprivileged are forced to sell their votes to fulfill their basic necessities of life like food, clothing and shelter.

(ii) Role of anti-social elements: During elections, the role of anti-social elements gets a sudden rise. Voters are forced to vote for a particular candidate or party. Rigging also takes place during the elections.

(iii) Corruption and inefficiency: In most of democratic countries, political leaders and government officials are dishonest, corrupt, and inefficient. As a result, citizens generally do not take any interest in elections. They even have no faith in government officials. That adversely affects the working of democracy in a country.

(iv) Casteism and communalism: These two are the biggest challenges in many democratic countries. Political parties try to brainwash people while distributing tickets for the election. We have seen that representatives elected on the basis of community and caste work for the welfare of the people belonging only to their group.

From the above-mentioned points, it is clear that these challenges depend on what stage of social development the country is. Resolutions to these trials also depend on a country’s exclusive situation. There is no pre-prescribed method to confront the challenges faced by democracy.

Great Himalayas, also called Higher Himalayas or Great Himalaya Range, highest and northernmost section of the Himalayan mountain ranges. It extends southeastward across northern Pakistan, northern India, and Nepal before trending eastward across Sikkim state (India) and Bhutan and finally turning northeastward across northern Arunachal Pradesh state (India); throughout nearly all of its length it adjoins to the north the southern Tibet Autonomous Region of China. The range’s total length is some 1,400 miles (2,300 km), and it has an average elevation of more than 20,000 feet (6,100 metres). The Great Himalayas contain many of the world’s tallest peaks, including (from west to east) Nanga Parbat, Annapurna, Mount Everest, and Kanchenjunga.
